Although university education has been gotten great achivements in the reform and development, but it still can not escape various impeachments of university degeneration, low efficiency of moral education, alienation of education. And lack of the "harmonious person" and sprawl of the "unilateral person" in the university educational situation, not only made the university education fall into embarrassing situation of conflict between should be and reality, but also put forward a new proposition for the university education function, namely university education how to promote the harmonious development of the college student individual?From the perspective of generative theory, the individual harmonious development is not only a natural history process just like the nature from birth to death, from development to mature, from growth to generate according to the laws of nature, but also a dialectical generative process under interaction of the inside and outside generative factors from alienation to humanization, from the one-sided to total, from conflict to harmony, and by "natural person" developing "social person", by "one-side person" developing "total person", by "dissonance person" developing "harmonious person". In this generating and developing process, the harmonious development of individual not only embodies the interaction of the inside and outside generative factors, but also manifests organic unity of development between inner harmony and outside harmony. While from the alienation to humanization, from the one-sided to total, from the conflict to harmony not only reflect essence requirement of the individual harmonious development, but also show objective laws of the harmonious development of individual follows, such as the harmonious development law, interaction law between the subject and object, integration coordinated law, dialectical movement law and so on, meanwhile which provide reasonable theoretical basis for the generative theory educational model of the college student individual harmonious development.In the process of the harmonious development of the college student individual, due to activation and influence of inner and outside factors such as the alienation dislocation, conflict anomie, development detuning and so on, especially alienation oneself, unilateralism, utilitarianism and other social phenomena of the objective existence, which has produced all kinds of "the mismatching persons" of "one-sided person" and "freak person","one-way person","plane person","tools person","half person" with one-sided development. Therefore, to promote the harmonious development of the college student individual not only needs to follow generative development law of inner harmony and outside coordination of the individual, but also combine objective reality of the individual unilateral development, propel together the harmonious development of the college student individual from two ways of the inner harmony and outside coordination. Among them, physical and mental harmony, cognitive harmony, personality harmony and development harmony of the individual are promoted by the inner harmonious way, while coordinate the individual outside relationships such as interpersonal relationship, group-self relationship and the interrelation between individual and society, individual and nature and so on by the outside coordinative way. Only by the interaction of the individual inner harmony and outside coordination, achiving the organic unity of the inner harmony and outside coordination, can it be promoted for the harmonious development of the college student individual preferably. However, being limited in the level of development of productive forces and constraints of the subjective and objective conditions, harmonious development goal of the college student individual has being still under generating practice.
