Massification has brought about profound changes to Chinese higher education, as well as caused a corresponding adjustment and reform of ideological and political education. Massification of higher education has become the realistic background of Chinese ideological and political education, and it is also the booster of counselors working system and the functional convert.Chinese higher education is just during the transition from elite education to mass education. During the process, higher education appears such characteristics as the coexistence of all sorts of education types and factors. Then it suggests that we should make it clear to transform the directions and goals of higher education, while take it consideration to the reality basis of higher education and choose the corresponding ways, methods and strategies or measures in the specific work. Under the condition that massification of higher education is still "not perfect", college students and the counselors team are different from the elite stage. It is the overall scale, population structure, thoughts and the overall appeal of college students that put forward new requirements to the instructors works. Massification also brought employment-oriented values to the higher education and the higher education appears utilitarian and tool-oriented. And the tendency to be utilitarian and tool-oriented has become increasingly obvious so that the humane spirit, which attaches the instructors and students, is likely to be worldly. All of these make counselors works complicated, and the counselors influence is experiencing a big test. On the other hand, with the expansion of higher education scale, the number of the counselors increased. It is obvious that the counselors and their influence on college students are important. But such problems as too young, lower degree, lower titles and the positions of the counselors team, to great extent restrict the exertion of counselors influence.Firstly, the paper elaborates the background and significance of this topic, and analyses the theory and the research results about the mass higher education, influence and the counselors influence, and indicates the research methods and innovations of this paper.Secondly, the article interprets Chinese massification of higher education from many dimensions. The development of higher education massification in China is not long. Since 1990s, economy development, especially the development of knowledge economy has led to higher education enrollment expansion, which promotes the development of higher education massificatin in China. The characteristics of the development of higher education massificatin in China are catching, transition stage and the primary stage. Massification of higher education not only changes the overall condition of Chinese higher education, but satisfies the public demands for higher education in China, and updates the idea of massificatin of higher education. Thus, it has important historical significance and practical value.Next, the paper expounds the related theory of the influence of instructors, which is the focus of this paper. First of all, it defines the core concept of this paper, the counselors influence. The instructors influence is the relationship between the instructors and the students. Depending on the relationship, counselors influence students’behavior or behavior tendency to realize the students work wishes and intentions. The paper interprets the influence of the instructors from the angle of counselors influence belonging to the two-way interaction, and puts forward the function formula of the counselors influence. It illustrates the characteristics of the counselors influence, which are result-oriented, controllable, measurable and so on. It explores the types and the source of the tutors influence and also reveals the necessity and significance of the construction of counselors influence.Based on this, the paper analyses the impacts and influence that the massification of the higher education brought to the influence of the instructors. Massificatin broke the structure and balance of Chinese traditional elite higher education, and made Chinese higher education system experience a long-term, deep and large differentiation and reorganization. The direct effects of higher education massificatin are the changes of the number and the structure of college students. On the one hand, the scale of college students expands rapidly, on the other hand, students population structure appears to be diverse. Correspondingly, the younger counselor team with low-degrees, low-positions and low academic titles weaken the relationship between the instructors and the students and lack power of build influence and other problems.Finally, the paper interprets the producing and running mechanism of instructors influence and puts forward the strategy of promoting the counselors influence in terms of the counselors, the college students and the environment. From the point of view of the counselors, the most important strategy should be cultivate professional counselors, expert counselors. From the perspective of the university students, the paper suggests that we should encourage students to participate, respect the needs of the college students, and cultivate the college students’ personality and humanistic spirit. From the angle of the education management environment, the paper proposes such measures as enhancing the instructors work result, improving instructors works design, and pushing counselors work transformation and so on.
