Research On University Political Education In The Massification Process Of Higher Edcation

Popularization of higher education has been the major trend of world higher education since the 1960's. At present it's at a critical time in strategy for our country to have the national higher education changed from an elite-focusing education to a popularization education. The popularization of higher education is inevitable whether we consider it from the view of politics, economics and culture or from the perspective of the development of higher education itself. Comparing with the elite-focusing education, popularization education has many distractive features, which have brought about relevant influence on the political education and made it form its own characteristics, which create new issues in the work of higher education. These issues mean to us hot only pressure but also challenge. Through the analysis of connotation, development background and characteristics of popularization of higher education, this thesis attempts to expose new problems and new situation of ideological and political education in the process of higher education massification and then seek a proper way to better the massification of higher education. Therefore new innovative idea is put forward in concept, contents and approaches.
