As organizer of rural education,rural Teachers play a central and fundamental roleand has an overall bearing on the construction of a moderately prosperous society in allrespects in rural China. The focus of education research has been changed from the eliteto grassroots with downward vision. Research of life history of rural teacher introducelife history into educational history study. Taking teachers who live and work in ruralChina as research object, focus on the evolution of their family, school and social life,through literature analysis, field study, oral history and educational narrative, researchof rural teachers’ life history will be benefit to recreating the original scene of history.Meanwhile, it provides new ideas to educational history research. Life history will beone of the prevailing trends in the future. Therefore,research on life history of ruralteachers in China makes more meaning today. Based on case study of the life history inDao Village, through documentary analysis, oral history and narrative, the paper tries toexlore the intrinsic nature of rurul teachers’ life change and discuss interactivemechanism of rurul teacher, countries and community.The main content of this study is following.The first part is instruction. Antecedent questions such as the background andliterature review of the research. The two core concepts, rural teacher and life history,were defined and the scales of time and space were redefined as premise for futureresearch. As well as aims, significance, approach and methods, were discussed.Meanwhile, it sum up vigorously the conceiving and writing of the full article.ChapterⅠof this paper. A brief survey of Fan County,Yikeshu Town, DaotianVillage and school,which was the main field the teachers live and work. A perspectivepanorama of this village was present to clarify the background and life field of RuralTeacher.Chapter II, III, IV and V of this paper, is the investigation on60years’ change ofteachers’ life history in Daotian Village divided into four phases from1949to2013. Thefirst phase started from the founding of PRC to the beginning of "Education Revolution".The class of teachers in Sishu gradually faded away. Several new teacher became theperpetrators and promoters of modern education. The second stage is the third chapterexpounds the "Educational Revolution" period. Rural teachers became became thevassal of politics, lose the possibility of defending themselves. The third stage is thefourth chapter expounds the life of minban teachers, this period were from the end of 1970’s to turn of the century.Some of them persist with their efforts to teaching inDaotian and became public teachers. Some of them affected by the impact of socialistmarket economy and changed their careers. The fourth stage is the chapter specificallyaddressed in2000through2013, having been in the states of shocks of System changes,Rural Primary School Mergin and South-to-North Water Transfer Project,Daotan Schoolwas anachronistic. Teachers there were to be the catcher of rural education.In the last part,through the review in the front chapters, found life change of theinherent nature of the rural teachers, interactive mechanism of the individual andcountries, community. The various policies of the state of rural teachers becomeimportant factors influencing rural teacher’s life change. Rooted in the rural society of"human feeling"and"guanxi", these teachersare, consciously or unconsciously using thesame or different individual choices, deal with the events in their lives.
