Study On The Impacts And Strategies Of Contemporary Social Trend On College Students’ Thinking And Behavior

Contemporary social trend is an important form of social consciousness, which reflects the social dynamic process. It is also the "sensor" of the changing of time spirit, the explicit and implicit social contradictions, the transformation of social themes and the trend of social development. Generally speaking, the formation of social trend in a specific period is closely related to the prevailing economic, political and cultural conditions. Any change in social trend can be found the root in the specific productive forces and production relations, economic foundation and superstructure. Due to fit the specific social and historical environment, social trend occupies a considerable amount of audiences. It always extends along the propagation line to the community intensively, from the social elite group to the youth group, and then to the masses of the society. According to the general law of the development of things change, the evolution trace of social trend is divided into five stages, which are latent enlightenment, expanding rise, flourishing resurging, metamorphosis splitting and dying out.It is a complex process involving many factors of the influence of contemporary social trend on college students’thinking and behavior. It has the function of contemporary social trend itself and is affected by the psychological feature of undergraduates in the process of growth. What’s more, it is mixed with the complex variable stimulus of the evolution of the social environment and each of these factors also contains a complex composition. This part makes a systematic and comprehensive study to the basic concepts, main features, generating conditions, development track, communicating mode, transmission line, propagation characteristics, basic types and the division of social trend. Strengthen the research on the basic issues of contemporary social trend theory, will provide a theoretical support for our in-depth study of the impacts and strategies of social trend on college students’ thinking and behavior.Chapter 3:The influence changes of contemporary social trend on college students’ thinking and behavior since the reform and opening up.
