During the past decade years, lean thinking leads manufacturing tremendous change, andsets off a revolution in the field of industry across national boundaries. Lean product thatproposes a concept creates the greatest value with the least resources, describes a productionwith a better, faster, lower cost, less space used, lower inventories and shorter working hours,and all waste elimination. With companies have implemented lean product and developed,difference of companies in field of manufacturing have been becoming short. Company cannot win competition only by manufacturing improvement.China that is a traditional manufacturing country, product innovation capacity continuespromotion and achievement arise in recent year. But, research and practice of productdevelopment is not accordance with the transfromation between Chinese Manufacturing toChinese Innovation. Lean product development that development processes improved by leanthinking is a better solution.This dissertation puts efforts in some key point’s product development methodology ofincreasing customer value in target market, based on framework for lean product development.These technologies include customer needs selection; customer needs evaluation, relationshipbetween customer requirements and engineering requirement; sub-system design solutionselection. Detailed research works includes:The lean product development framework and methodogy proposed in this researchemploye a new analysis model to eliminate waste in product development toimplement PDTTL by customer pull. By lean thinking method and best practice, leanproduct development methodology and application in accordance with stakeholder’svalue, scenario has been drawing out. It analyzes the value stream, waste and itsrelationship, best methodlogy for eleminiating waste and lean product development implementation. This is the theoretical basis in future research.This study presents a new needs information selection by credibility criterion, whichby analysis of market research process and attributes towards type of customer needs.Three main aspects are summarized as credibility criterion, transfroamion betweenqualitative and quantitative data. Another novel point in this study is the improvedalgorithm named Dissipative structures GA, which helps to give a more reasonableresult to the enterprise.By detailed analysis of QFD planning process and the correlation coefficient inengineering characteristics, this study established a new method to evaluate customerneeds based on multi-somatic theory to improving AHP. With the help of fuzzyregression analysis, we can get the best solution for transformation between needsrequirement and engineering requirement by history data. Those improvementsincrease accuracy and reliability of engineering requiement.Function solution customer satisfaction review after marketing research is notproposed except in this research, which by gray system theoretical basis. In this study,we analyzed the risk by summarizing cost risk, schedule risk, and technological risk.At last, we proposed a new design solution selection model, which solve by antipoplution algorithm.A case is studied in this research, which aims to verify the research contents above. Thisresearch based on industry requirement solves some question in product development andpeoposed some methodlodies for lean product development. Research results in this studyprovided several novel methods and framework to shorten distances between theoreticalresearch and requirements in industries.
