Research On Two-sided Matching Decision Making Methods

With the rapid development of market economics, the various aspects of social economy have been changed a lot. In a lot of economic and management activities, it refers to one or more members in a group who need to match with one or more members in another group, such as the matching of persons and positions in human resource management, the matching of buyers and sellers in electronic business activities introduced by brokers, the matching of investors and investment projects in venture investment activities. In the process of matching, it should consider the information of matching satisfaction degree and satisfy the requirement and demand of both two-sided matching bodies. At present, the scholars have paid great attention to the related problem of two-sided matching decision. It has appeared some research results but not formed systemic research system. The scientific and effective decision method considering two-sided matching decision problem has not been put forward sufficiently. Therefore, it has great theoretic and practical value to abstract the two-sided matching decision making problem and give pertinence decision making method.The purpose of this thesis is to address the two-sided matching decision making problem, a series of research works are conducted and the contributions are as follows:(1) It abstracts the research problems and theory framework of two-sided matching decision making. For there is abundant background for two-sided matching decision making problem and it has great theoretic and practical application value, it abstracts the two-sided matching decision making problem. It gives the research framework to solve the abounding two-sided matching decision making problem. Firstly, it confirms the concept of two-sided matching decision making. It also analyzes the main characters of two-sided matching decision making and the differences with other decision making. Secondly, it describes and classifies the two-sided matching decision making problem. Based on it, it abstracts the typical two-sided matching decision making problem. The third, it gives the research framework and structural model for two-sided matching decision making. The above theoretic research work makes the two-sided matching research to be a theoretic system; it also provides a general theoretic and analytic framework for related problem. It constructs the theoretic base for the extension and application of research problem.(2) Two kinds of multi-objective two-sided matching decision making method are proposed to solve the two-sided matching problem considering linguistic assessment information. Focusing on multi-granularity linguistic assessment information of matching bodies, it firstly provides a two-sided matching decision making method based on linguistic values and fuzzy set theory; and secondly the two-sided matching decision making method based on linguistic values and two-tuple linguistic model.(3) A fuzzy multi-criteria two-sided matching decision making method is proposed to solve the two-sided matching problem with multiple format evaluation information. The two-sided matching satisfaction degree is defined by calculating the distance of evaluation information with positive ideal point. It takes the example of typical two-sided matching decision making problem. The fuzzy multi-criteria two-sided matching decision making method is proposed based on multiple format evaluation information.(4) A multi-criteria two-sided matching decision making method is proposed to solve the two-sided matching problem with index expectation information. It uses the axiomatic design method and fuzzy axiomatic design method considering both the same index expectation information and different index expectation information. Firstly, it provides the multi-criteria two-sided matching decision making method considering the same index expectation information. Secondly, it provides the multi-criteria two-sided matching decision making method considering the different index expectation information.(5) A two-sided matching decision making method is proposed based on matching evaluation matrix. It provides two kinds of two-sided matching decision making methods based on the basic principle of matching evaluation matrix. One method is based on two-tuple linguistic matrix model. The other two-phase decision making method is based on matching evaluation matrix. (6) A two phase two-sided matching decision making support method is proposed considering large scale of matching bodies in two-sided matching decision making problem. Focusing on typical decision making problem, it provides a two phase two-sided matching decision making support method.The proposed theory and method can solve the existing abundant practical problems, eg:two-sided matching decision making problem in human resource, two-sided matching decision making problem in electronic business, two-sided matching decision making problem in finance economics. It can also be extended to other decision making problem with the characters of two-sided matching decision making. The proposed method gives the use for reference from method aspect and typical application aspect focusing on two-sided matching decision making research.
