The coming of the risk society, in various fields have started to pay attention to thedevelopment of things uncertainty and possible loss. Mountain Scenic Area as a touristactivity, charged with the tourists, the protection of resources, promoting the developmentof regional tourism industry and other aspects of the function. Scenic spot operationprocess due to natural disasters, social issues, management of scenic spots and touristbehavior tour safety risk. This article is for the mountain scenic spot tourism safety riskresearch.The mountain scenic tourist safety risk as the research proposition, borrowed fromnatural disaster cause theory, on mountain tourism risk accident origin mechanism, risksource recognition, risk evaluation, risk management system and other contents arediscussed. While in the case study, using the grid method and GIS technology for spaceunit construction, choose the corresponding indexes were different grid within the tourismsafety risk assessment, and put forward the management measures in Changbai Mountain.In this paper, combining qualitative analysis with quantitative research, fusion of humangeography, natural disasters, tourism geography and so on the theory and method ofmountain tourism safety, risk undertook relatively systematic research.The main part of this paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter mainly discusses the background, significance, research status athome and abroad, on the theoretical basis and the main method. Tourism industry isdeveloping rapidly, spot safety accidents, and the mountain is the accident possibility morearea is in the background. Mountain scenic spot tourism risk research not only theoreticallyrich tourism geography research content, risk identification and analysis, evaluation ofscenic spot for tourism is the basis of risk management.
