Manufacturing logistics is one of the most important parts in logistics industry and accounting for biggest share in the whole market of logistics industry, manufacturing logistics is very important for the development of national economy. There exist contradiction between the logistics demand of manufacturing enterprises and the capacity of logistics service from logistics firms. In one hand, there have numerous logistics demand because of the rapid development of manufacturing, and modern logistics service is the base of transition and upgrading of manufacturing, in the other hand, most logistics firms in china mainly provide low-level logistics service, because of lacing of creating in service content, many logistics firms in china hardly meet the standard of modern supply chain management and the demand of advanced manufacturing. We can solve above mentioned problem through logistics service innovation. Although many scholars have study the topic of logistics service innovation, but there seldom have study specialized on manufacturing logistics service innovation, then we can find that the research of manufacturing logistics service innovation is meaningful. The paper analyzes the mode and influencing factors of manufacturing logistics service innovation in the perspective of demand based on theories of mode logistics service, logistics demand and service innovation.In the dissertation, we elaborate the origin of research question and significance of the research. The following part is literature review, we argue that we should explore the feature of manufacturing logistics demand, the mode and influencing factors of manufacturing logistics service innovation and the strategy of manufacturing logistics service innovation. About research methodology, we employ grounded theory to analyze the influencing factors of manufacturing logistics service innovation, and employ empirical research method to verify it. Then we adopt exploratory, confirmative factor analysis and regression analysis to explore the mode of manufacturing logistics service innovation, finally we use case study method to analyze the strategy of manufacturing logistics service innovation. We conclude the following results.Firstly, the interaction between manufacturing and logistics industry is more and more deepen along of the improving of the logistics service function and the form of organization for manufacturing logistics. We find that there exist the common features between general logistics service and manufacturing logistics service, but we can also find that manufacturing logistics have specialized features different from other form of logistics service, including hierarchy, continuity, diversity, asymmetry of information, demand uncertainty.Second, there have many influencing factors affect demand-oriented manufacturing logistics service innovation, including costumer relationship, organizational learning, market-oriented strategy, human resources factors and policy factors.Third, the demand-oriented manufacturing logistics service innovation is a multi-dimensional construct, including process innovation, product innovation, technology innovation and business model innovation.As described above, costumer relationship, knowledge, market-oriented strategy, human resources factors and policy factors will bring positive impact on manufacturing logistics service innovation.Forth, logistics firms should select service innovation strategy based on demand of customer, including maintenance-type innovation strategy, Value-added innovation strategy, product innovation strategy, leading technology innovation strategy and integrated logistics innovation strategy.
