On Issues Of Emerging Interdisciplinary Incubator

The salient features of the development of modern science and technology is high synthesis and integration on the basis of high specialization. Instead of the single-disciplinary research methods, the constantly generated emerging interdisciplinary provides an important means on further solving the complex natural and social problem. It increasingly shows its unique function and value. However, due to the shackles from the traditional concept and current rigid system, most of the original, exploratory emerging interdisciplinary lack of the necessary supportive measures, thus it is difficult for them to obtain normal survival space and development opportunities. Based on the concept and method of business incubator, in order to build a suitable environment and machanism for the growth of emerging interdisciplinary, so as to further promoting the development of interdisciplinary, this paper discusses the related issues of emerging interdisciplinary incubator which are innovative, complex and challenging.The thesis consists of six chapters, mainly focusing on four aspects. First, it reviews the development process of the discipline and interdisciplinary, and analyses their basic characteristics, concepts connotation and classification ideas, on this basis, introduces the concept of emerging interdisciplinary incubator and discusses its role and characteristics. Second, as a foreshadowing of the incubator issues, it expounds the external power and internal mechanism on the creation of emerging interdisciplinary, adopts a two-dimensional coordinate system and a three-dimensional coordinate system to respectively characterize the growing points within a discipline category and among discipline categories, proposes the formation of an interdisciplinary generally go through four stages, namely brewing, creating, growing and maturity, then analyzes the characteristics of each stage. The nuclear forensics science is also discussed as a case study for the creation and development law of emerging interdisciplinary. Third, based on the design of an Emerging Interdisciplinary Incubator Evaluation Index System as well as the development of a specific and detailed evaluation contents, it predicts the related issues of emerging interdisciplinary incubator by constructing a grey hierarchy model, and forecasts the development prospects of the interdisciplinary of nuclear arms control as a case study to theoretically and practically test the practicability and maneuverability of this predictive model. Fourth, in terms of ideological concept, disciplinary system, evaluation mechanisms, funding, personnel training, scientific research support system, analysis of the major obstacles involved in the construction of emerging interdisciplinary incubator. Meanwhile, in order to provide suitable conditions and environment for the creation and development of emerging interdisciplinary, according to actual situation in our country and development experience from abroad, some countermeasures and suggestions are put forward, including left positions for interdisciplinary in the directory of disciplines, set up interdisciplinary department which is constituted of incubation centers, improve the peer review mechanism, expand funding channels and methods, strengthening the recognition and support of pioneering talents, pay attention to the academic role of the publications, and standardize terminology to eliminate interdisciplinary communication barriers.The paper points out that to promote the development of emerging interdisciplinary, the construction of incubator is an important measure, but it is more important to make profound transformation in ideas. Only by a comprehensive understanding of the role and value of interdisciplinary, and changing the scientific concepts from the traditional single-disciplinary to modern interdisciplinary, can it fundamentally improve the living space and growing environment for the emerging interdisciplinary.The main innovative points of this these are as follows:first, for the first time, the interdisciplinary study and incubator theory are combined to systematically analysis and research the construction of the incubator for emerging interdisciplinary. Second, the system forecasting technology is applied to the research of emerging interdisciplinary incubator, and the grey hierarchy model is established and verified. Third, in order to support and promote the breeding and growth of emerging interdisciplinary, based on the analysis of discipline system, evaluation mechanisms, funding, personnel training and academic support platform, some countermeasures and suggestions, which different from the traditional disciplines, are put forward.
