Study Ecology Contemporary World Socialism

The world is in an era of transition from industrial civilization to ecologicalcivilization. After World War II, especially since the sixties and seventies of the20thcentury, an important phenomenon is that world socialism is becoming “greener” ormore “ecological” in order to follow the development of the socialist trend of humancivilization(you can also say, ecological civilization will inherit and transcend theindustrial civilization.) and in order to adapt requirements of social progress anddemands of the people. This change can give us socialism with a new plan on thecontent and character. Facing the world and the future，undoubtedly，the study tofocus on the developing trend of the world’s ecological socialism has importanttheoretical and practical significance. Since the mid-20th century,a variety of environmental hazards accidents occur frequently in the contemporaryworld and surging ecological movements that illustrate the unity of oppositesenvironmental protection and economic and social development rising to newcontradictions guiding the development of mankind in the future. The contradictionsof human existence is converted to provide a broad historical space to contemporaryecological development of the world socialist.
