Today mankind proposed ecological demands from environmental, economic, cultural, political, and ecological and many other aspects. Eco-Socialism advocates exploring the causes of ecological crisis from the perspective of social institutions, analysis the contemporary ecological crisis of capitalist society, evaluating the pros and cons of Soviet and East European socialist model, Looking to the future prospect of the socialist society. Eco-Socialism is particularly concerned of the relationship between the socialist system and ecological problems and then it required to re-grasp the connotation of socialism from the perspective of the relationship between man and nature. Eco-Socialism's profound reflection of ecological crisis in the western countries, and it's willingness to seek actively the sustainable development and progress of human society, reflecting the strong concern to human history. It is very useful for us to correctly understand and grasp the historical destiny of contemporary socialism, constructing a harmonious society and ecological civilization.With the growth of environmental crisis, Eco-Socialism advocate changing the development paradigm, advocate ecological protection, advocate social justice, ecological justice, against the violence factors which affecting social harmonious, promote positive, effective, nonviolent environmental movement, pay attention to the civil rights, advocating the ability to participate in grassroots democracy. Four basic principles of Eco-Socialism are ecological principles, social justice, nonviolence, grassroots democracy principles. These principles work together with each other, in order to developing a green, eco-friendly, social justice, peace and democracy ecological socialist society. Although Eco-Socialism theory and practice is still feeble, and has a certain idealism color, but it provides imaginary space for socialists to response to global issues. It also further perfected the socialism, provided the beneficial reference for the transition of socialist based on the Industrial civilization to socialist based on ecological civilization and the construction of Ecological civilization of socialism. The Zhongyuan Urban Agglomeration plays a key role in China's development and it cannot ignore the construction of Ecological Civilization, China is in the transition stage, there is no ready-made experience for reference in the construction of ecological civilization .Based on the study of ecological socialist, combined Eco-socialism ideology in the Social Construction of Ecological Civilization of Zhongyuan Urban Agglomeration, making an active exploration on the guiding significance of ecological socialism to the construction of Ecological Civilization. The four principles of Eco-socialism has very important significance for Zhongyuan Urban Agglomeration in upholding socialism and in keeping pace with the Times, the realization of green rise and the construction of ecological civilization and the transformation of socialism which based on industrial civilization to socialist which based on ecological civilization.Current research of Eco-socialism mostly in national political system level.This paper combined construction of ecological civilization in Zhongyuan Urban Agglomeration with the study of Eco-socialism aiming at establishing the concept of Eco-socialism in Zhongyuan Urban Agglomeration, providing positive efforts to the construction of a Eco-socialism society. |
