Purpose:Using the CON-TREX human muscle strength assessment and training system to make the isokinetic muscle test of the knee flexors and extensors for25cases, in order to research the effect of osteoarthritis of knee on knee flexors and extensors, and try to observe its association with clinical and imaging manifestations.Methods:25cases were selected for this study, they were divided into five groups according to the Kellgren-Lawrence X-ray grading standards:the control group(no clinical and imaging manifestations), the experimental group Ⅰ (K/L classification Grade Ⅰ), the experimental group Ⅱ (K/L classification Grade Ⅱ), the experimental group Ⅲ (K/L classification Grade Ⅲ), the experimental group Ⅳ (K/L classification Grade IV). Made the isokinetic muscle test of the knee flexors and extensors with CON-TREX human muscle strength assessment and training system, and collected and analyzed the isokinetic muscle test results of knee flexors and extensors at the speed of60°/s. VAS score and KSS score were also collected. Then use SPSS19.0to analyze the effect of osteoarthritis of knee on knee flexors and extensors and its association with clinical and imaging manifestations. Results:1. Significant differences can be found in peak torque/body weight of flexors and extensors and Flex/Extension Ratio between control group and four experimental groups (P<0.05), there is no significant differences between experimental group Ⅰ and Ⅱ, or group Ⅲ and Ⅳ(P>0.05).2. Significant differences are found in Total work/Body weight, intact side/affected side ratio and work fatigue between every two groups (P<0.05)3. The correlation coefficient between the sum of peak torque/body weight of knee flexors and extensors and VAS score is-0.671, Correlation is significant at the0.01level (2-tailed).4. The correlation coefficient between the sum of peak torque/body weight of knee flexors and extensors and KSS score is-0.851, Correlation is significant at the0.01level (2-tailed).Conclusion:1. Osteoarthritis of knee has significant influence on the function of the knee. The contraction ability, acting ability and fatigue resistance of knee flexors and extensors and the stability of the knee were significantly reduced. The influence has significant association with its imaging manifestations.2. The results of isokinetic muscle test of patients with osteoarthritis of knee have significant association with its clinical scores.
