The Research Of Han Dynasty’s Stone Relief In The The Northern Region Of Shanxi

The dissatation is a research on motif of northern Shaanxi stone reliefs. Thefirst half is an analysis of northern Shaanxi stone reliefs. And the second half of thethesis of northern Shaanxi stone reliefs’ study is for aesthetic studies. These two partsare complementary to each other and by this way I expect to be able to have a morein-depth and comprehensive study on the subject of northern Shaanxi stone reliefs.In the first half of the article, i.e the first to the third chapter, the author selectedthe Queen Mother of the West image, Ssangyong Cross wear the Bi patterns, Trees,Horses, Shoot birds, and combinations images, Brackets and Yu and Suzakucombined images and other Northern Dynasty Stone reliefs of the motifs, for anin-depth analysis and tracing their origin. The first half of the thesis also includes themotif of Unicorn image and Jointed Rings image’s study. These motifs are mainly dueto the impact of the Central Plains culture, directly originated from within the Chineseculture. But they have an obvious characteristic of the grassland culture. From theabove analysis of the northern Shaanxi portrait stone, I tried to come to a conclutionthat northern Shaanxi Han Dynasty Stone Reliefs motif modeling based on the CentralPlains culture as its main body, and the peoples’ acceptical horizon of the CentralPlains culture and the Eurasian steppe cultures’ blending, which created a prominentgeographical features of northern Shaanxi portrait stone.The second half of the article, i.e the fouth chapter, are from the aestheticaspects to analyze the northern Shaanxi Han Dynasty stone northern Shaanxi portraitstone theme, content, function, aesthetic characteristics and so on. The epilogue of thearticle, the author takes a brief summary and outlook of the issues on the northernShaanxi Eastern Han Stone Reliefs study.
