Zhou Bida (1126-1204), whose given name is "Zichong","Hongdao" and who style himself as "Xingqijushi" in his young age,"Qingyuanyefu" in his middle age and "Pingyuanlaosou" in his old age, was a famous politician, writer and scholar in earlier period of Southern Song Dynasty, who was a native of Lulin, JiZhou, now is in Jian, Jiangxi province. From Song Gaozong, Song Xiaozong to Song Guangzong, he worked in goverment for fourty-five years, and he became left prime minister, and named as "Yiguogong". Death posthumous Wenzhong. His writings was very rich, which had twenty-seven kinds of woks handed down, a total of two hundred volumes. He was a famous Confucianism theorist in the middle age of the South Song Dysnasty. He was also successed in collation, engraved books, known as a great master of books. He leaded the literature as the prime minister, making friends who were most of prominent personage. For studying him, it was of great significance understand social customs, the political environment, the poems’ responsory between poet groups, development of general ecological literature and even versions of philology aspects.Unfortunately, such a representative of the versatile scholar, he got the attention is not commensurate with his importance of political and literary in the Southern Song Dynasty. In particular, it lacks of informative, panoramic chronicle as the cornerstone of the study. In this thesis, with two hundred volumes of "Zhou Yiguo Wenzhong set" as the main line, meticulous combing its Patent Dahir, memorials policy questions, feast handouts, travel diaries and letters and inscriptions, notes and other relevant information,"Song","Three North League compilation","Department of years since Jianyan to record "in the history books and other current events, and make friends beside Morohito poetry, letters, and so on, we write this chronicle according to the order of year. The chronicle objectively represents Zhou’s life experiences, completely his reading, studying, politics performance, socializing activities, and so on, with purpose of laying a solid foundation for further study.The chronicle records Zhou’s life,divided into five volumes in the following:First:Work hard in moving restlessly from place to place.From Jingkang first year (1126) to Shaoxing twentieth year (1150), he was from one to25year-old. Before the age of thirteen, he read with his mother. After the age of thirteen, following with his uncle’s official travel all over the Hunan-Jiangxi, he received his education mainly from family and mentorship.Second:ntering into official career.From Shaoxing twenty-first year(1151) to Shaoxing thirty-second year (1162), he was from26to37years old. Zhou, first Scholars, then boxuehongcike, was political office, appreciated deeply by Gaozong and Xiaozong.Third:Twice in the Temple. From Longxing first year (1163) to Longdao ninth year (1173), he was from38to48years old. Because of opposing the appointment of the inheritance officials and the wife’s family, Zhou was twice in the temple, before and after up to eleven years.Fourth:To become left prime minister.From Chun Xi first year (1174) to Chun Xi sixteenth year (1189), he was from49to64years old. After being called by Xiaozong, Zhou Li Shi shop office while serving six Executive by shenzhizhengshi, senator and the prime minister, was selected as the Colonial Secretary, to participate in things Xiaozong abdicate the throne.Fifth:Fade and seclusion.From Shaoxi first year (1190) to Jiatai fourth year (1204), he was from65to79years old. Soon after Gong Zong emperor ascended the throne, Zhou Bida was ousted prime minister, became the prefecture of Tanzhou, and he retired after five years. Subsequently, he was in rural seclusion, drinking and composing poetry, writings frequently, continuing school books until his death.Chronicle is divided into five chapters according to the above, added Pre-chronicle and Post-chronicle to describe Zhou’s family in origin and the situation after death.
