China-Egypt Relations And The Nile Basin Countries(1996-2011)

This research aims to illustrate the importance of the relationship between china and egypt and its contribution in strengthening the bonds of interdependence between china and the African countries with taking into account the interests of the both countries, and focusing on the role which could be played by china in Africa through its presence in the Nile Basin countries.And through the access to some reports from the Egyptian embassy in Beijing,the study has indicated the importance of the cooperation in the middle east and Africa in protecting the interests of both countries, and as a result of the strong relations between the two countries and the impression that the Egyptian have about the Chinese quantitative policy, the same study showed that the relationship between the both sides were not affected after the outbreak of the Egyptian revolution in January,25th2011.The study has also raised some proposals about the development of relations between the two countries:1-Putting into practice the Egyptian-Chinese cooperation in the Nile countries through the execution of some joint ventures proposed by the two sides that can serve the common interest and lead to the development in the region.2-The increase of the Chinese investment size in Egypt, and its accomplishment in the Suez’s south west area in order to create a centre for the Chinese industries in the Middle East and Africa.3-Reviving the terms of the strategic agreement between the two countries and activate it in a way that can serve the development of the relations between them.4-The establishment of an Egyptian Chinese committee specialized in the investment in the Nile Basin countries.5-The establishment of some joint research centers between the two sides to discuss the problems of the Nile basin countries, and stand in front of the American-Israeli influence that threaten the interests of the two countries in the region.
