The famous educator John Dewey once said:"we should put the moral purpose of education in the most important place in the process of teaching". If we compared the teaching to a person, then, the moral purpose of teaching is the soul of the person, the other attributes is the body of the person. In essence, the moral purpose of teaching is more important than the other attributes of teaching. So, it is meaningful to research the teaching ethics. Teaching have the characteristics of ethical, from the diachronic state, teaching have the moral attribute from the beginning and the whole historical process of teaching. From the perspective of temporal, the concept and characteristic of teaching show that its have the moral attribute.But, since the enlightenment, the modern society accumulate a lot of maladies,and the maladies also permeate into the scope of teaching.From the " God is Dead " of Nietzsche, the world view of western society have changed from romanticism to mechanism. Rational,as the representative of the enlightenment, have become into instrumental rationality.And the instrumental rationality ignore people.The modernity uphold the Scientific epistemology and substantive knowledge-based view;thus reject the people out of the process of knowledge construction. The modernity worship general methods.Under the influence of the modernity,teaching have beening treat as a technical activity.this cover the ethics attribute of teaching. On the values, the modernity worship the efficiency and ignore the justice.And futhermore, the modernity teaching treat the student as tool,treat teacher as victims. In epistemology, the modernity teaching uphold the scientific epistemology and thus result in no personality and no diversity of student. In the methodology,the modernity teaching worship general methods,thus make the teacher to be craftsman.From the above,we can know that the modernity teaching cover the ethics attribute of teaching.In order to get deal with the dilemma of modern teaching (for lack of the attribute of teaching), the researchers of teaching offer all kinds of solution:to revive the traditional teaching; deepen the modern teaching; go to post-modern teaching. On the whole,it is profitable but not workable to revive the traditional teaching or deepen the modern teaching or go to the extreme post-modem teaching.because the traditional teaching have the attribute of gradability, conservative and falsity. And that the modern teaching have the attribute of general, rational and alienation.and that the extreme post-modem teaching mainly engaged in critical and negate and weak in constructive and affirm.So it is the best way to go to the constructive postmodern teaching because the postmodern teaching have the strengths both the critical and the constructive,furthermore,the postmodern teaching absort the strengths of pre-modern teaching,modern teaching and post-modem teaching.In theory, the post-modem theory devide the human activities into two parties: institute and practice.Futhermore, the post-modem theory advocate that,teaching should belong to the field of practice because teaching have the attribute of virtue.thus, the post-modem theory uncover the ethics attribut of teaching. On the value orientation, the post-modem teaching reflection and beyond the disadvantages of modern teaching, and give more emphasis on intrinsic interest,thus changed the value of teaching from efficienc to people oriented. Futhermore the post-modem teaching change the role of student from the tool to purpose, change the role of teacher from the victims to developers.In epistemology,the post-modem teaching uphold the life epistemology. Life epistemology give a new explain of knowledge,thus give the student and teacher the chance to construe the knowledge together. In the methodology, the post-modern teaching changed from the eneral to situational methods,thus make the role of teacher changed from craftsman to researcher.Futhermore,the post-modem teaching highlight the generative,the legitimacy attribute of teaching methods.It is very important to find a the path to practice the post-modem teaching after we have figured out what the post-modem teaching is.because it is the basic conditions to prosperous the research of the post-modem teaching. We hold the opinion that teacher is a very important factor during the process of practicing the post-modem teaching.For this reason, we should promote the teaching’s ethical sensitivity and the consciousness of methodology, then treat the teacher as a researcher.we also hold the opinion that system is a very important factor during the process of practicing the post-modem teaching. For this reason, when we buid the system, we should have the opinion of people-oriented.Last but not the least, innovation concept is also a very important factor during the process of practicing the post-modem teaching. For this reason, we should change the concept of teacher, People in the society and the leadership of the education department.In this study, we follow the way of practical difficulties to cause analysis to sally path.Then we apply perspective of ethics,to look at all the aspects of teaching. On this basis, we give some suggestion to deal with the dilemma of modem teaching.This study can be divided into six parts.Part one, introduction.This part mainly give the reason of our study. There are mainly two reasons of our styudy, one is the phenomenon of corporal punishment student, the other is alienation of modern teaching ethics.Then introduce the value of the study from two aspects.Then analyze the disadvantages and advantages of the previous studies. In the end, we analyze the concepts of ethics, modem ethics, post-modem ethics, teaching ethics.Part two, we analyze why teaching have the attributes of ethics.First,we criticize the labor origin said of teaching,then, demonstrates the ethics origin said of teaching.Then,we inspect the condition of teaching ethics in before modern society, modern society and post-modern society.in the end,we analyze the attributes of teaching from the concept and nature of teaching.Part three, the dilemma of modem teaching and the performance of the lack of attribut of ethics.First,we analyze the process of the change of teaching from before modern society to modern society.Then analyze the change of the nature, the change of value, the change of epistemology and the change of themethody of teaching during the process.last,we describes the performance of,the reason and the harm of the lack of attribut of ethics in modem teaching.Part four, the way out the dilemma of modem teaching.we divide the way out the dilemma of modem teaching ethics into three parts:first, back to before modern society, second, deepen the modem teaching, the third, go to the post-modem teaching.on the basis of analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the three way, then, we advocate go to the post-modem teaching ethics.Part five, the proposition of post-modem teaching and the try of post-modem teaching to call back the ethics of teaching.First, we describe the change of teaching from modern society to post-modem society in nature. On this basis, we delineate the picture of post-modem teaching. Then, we describe the change of teaching from modern society to post-modem society in value. On this basis, we describe what the post-modem teaching should be like in value.In the last, we describe the change of teaching ethics from modern society to post-modem society in the relationship between teachers and students. On this basis, we describe what the post-modem teaching should be like in the relationship between teachers and students.Part six,the concrete way to build the post-modem teaching theoy to call back the ethics of teaching.There are three ways to build the post-modem teaching,that is to make the teacher to be a researceer and be sensitive to teaching ethics.And make the construction of system to be people-oriented.And change the teacher’s,the people in the society’s,the education manager ideas.
