Critique And Reconstruction Of Sports Modernity From The Perspective Of Postmodernism

With continuously development and change of society,under the impact of market economy tide,sports have changed a lot.In such environment,people can also see constantly changes on society values and value orientation.A variety of ethical issues arose during continuously development and change of sports.The rapid development of sports has gradually built up a commercialized and industrialized operation mode,centered on economy,which can crate human history in greater dimension and appeared to promote and accelerate the process of human civilization.But with the development of sports commercialization,some of the ethical issues were gradually emerging inevitably.Sports and business are inseparable.Driven by economic interests,the greed and utilitarian in human surfaced,the ugly face of human desires unfolded and expanded and sports moral authority was challenged.At this time,postmodern scholars claimed that human beings have entered modern society.Under this environment,sports was also inevitably filled with modern decays.In modern society,sportsman lost his significance as a person but just live and fight for achievements and material gains,which has brought unprecedented attack on sports.The situation has also led to the discussion among sports sector and the whole society,but still haven't find a way to go for sports ethics.Postmodern period is a special historical stage but not a time concept.During this period,integration and collision of civilization is inevitable,accompanied by value conflict.The emergence of postmodernism and the subsequent values affected the trend of sports ethical value directly.Under the influence of modernity,modern sports has shown a rapid development and created a variety of new world record,which all seemed to develop in a good trend.But is the truth just what it seemed? Is the modernity of sports truly in line with the long-term development of human beings in the future?What should we do facing the conflict between modern and postmodern sports ethical values? How should the values of sports be constructed and developed in the evolution of civilization?Through literature material,logic and expert consultation,the author studied ethical issues of postmodern and modern sports,the research status of postmodern sports,and the transformation of research hot spots in sports.The ethical issues along with the "alienation" of modern sports,the advocating binary opposition thinking mode and individualism occupying the absolute center,all resulting a gray evil cycle in modern sports ethics.Under the influence of modernity,sports catered to mechanism natural view,detached the relationship between man and nature,thus the and the value of modern sports is in an urgent need of being changed and reconstructed.At the same time,because postmodern sports ethics research is not perfect,modern sports has moved farther and farther along with the development of society.The conflict between modernism and postmodernism is getting more and more prominent,making it more pressing to the construction of post-modern sports environment.In the research of sports ethics and the historical development of postmodernism,we can find the suitable mainstream value for the development of modern sports and construct the new sports spirit under the postmodern vision to realize the"the truth,goodness and beauty " of sports,and make it "Return home”This paper is divided into three parts: in the first part,the author combed the meaning and problems of modernity,expounded the problems and crises under the influence of modern sports.In the second part,the author analyzed the background,foundation and connotation of postmodernism,expounded the reflection and criticism of postmodernism to sports modernity,and expounded the limitations of postmodernism itself.In the last part,the author analyzed the present situation of modern sports in our country,extracted the reasonable core of postmodernism construction to avoid detours in the process of industrialization and maed comments on constructing the postmodern sports spirit to promote the harmonious and healthy development of modern Chinese sports.
