The relationship between logistics system and regional economy is notonly determined by the interaction between the two systems, but also bythe coupling of the key elements in those systems. As an importantsupport of regional economy, logistics system has service, fundamentaland comprehensive characteristics which have inestimable effect on theregional economic development. Therefore, many provinces and cities inChina have put the development of the logistics industry into regionaleconomic development planning, and logistics park planning and layoutis regarded as an important foundation of the regional logisticsdevelopment.Based on regional economics, industry econimics, modern logistics andother related fields of knowledge as the theoretical foundation, this thesisanalysis the conjuntion mechanism between logistics park and regionaleconomic development from three angles including regional economic growth, regional spatial structure and industrial correlation, and creates afremework and method system of logistics park planning.Firstly, in the guidiance of the export-base model, this thesis tries toexplore the idiographic approaches for logistics park to lead the regionaleconomy growth from various aspects, such as technical advance rate, current cost, transaction cost, export supporting services and etc. and thisthesis establishes a cumulating model of regional economics growthincluding the logistics park development as a variables.Secondly, based on the rearrangement the concept of regional spatialstructure, the thesis discusses the factors and mechanism of formationand evolution of regional spatial structure from the angles of labordivision and specification, agglomeration and diffusion, industrialstructure upgrading, and technology improvement. On this basis, thethesis dicusses the affection mechanism of logistics park on regionalspatial structure, and builds up level mechanism of logistics park based on non-equilibrium regional spatial structure.Thirdly, based on the analysis of logistics park industry interacion, thethesis discusses the logistics park development’s impact on the logisticsindustry, primary industry, second industry and third industry. Then, thethesis dicusses the relevance and interaction of logistics park and regionalmanufacturing industry based on perspectives of social division of labor, transaction cost, competitive advantage and ecological community. Theseanalysis provides important theoretical support to the logistics parklayout and location problems. At last, taking the industrial and spatialinteraction as a breakthrough point, the thesis analysis the relationshipbetween the logistics park and the manufacturing industry agglomerationin two aspects including industrial interaction and spatial interaction.Fourthly, based on the theoretical analysis of economic developmentinteraction mechanism, we create the overall research thought of regionallogistics park planning, and build regional logistics park planning models and methods. This model mainly includes: an evaluation model on thecoupling conditon of logistics park and regional economic growth, aforecast model of regional logistics demands, a logistics park spacehierarchy model based on regional spatial structure theory, and alogitstics park layout model regard as industrial associationagglomeration. At last, the thesis uses the theory and model above to analysis thelogistics park planning and layout of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, andsome meaningful cooperative development strategies on regionallogistics park planning are put forward.Through the above research, taking the economic developmentassociation as a foundation, this thesis create a new theoreticalframework, which overcome the limitation of lacking economic theory inlogistics park planning. The author expects this research could bring anew train of thougt to promote our country’s regional logistics park planning and construction.
