Research On Dynamic Of Industrial Cluster Development Imposed By Entrepreneur Behavior

The role of industrial cluster played in the economy development has been drawn dramatically attentions during the last decade both by theoretical and practical fields, and the focus of the research has been changing from the formation mechanism explanation to how to push industrial cluster onto higher-level and sustainable development by active orientation. In accordance the trend, the research on entrepreneurial talent behaviors, the key function of entrepreneurial activities in simulating economic growth, and the mutual dynamic mechanism between entrepreneurship and cluster development become a hot domain within theoretical field. The further research on the functional process and mechanism of entrepreneurial talents in pushing the development of industrial cluster has important theoretical and practical meaningless.Through literature review, this thesis summarized the existing studies on cluster development, argued there are two important aspects of concept of cluster development, innovation development and scale expansion. These two aspects differ in bias as well as influencing each other. The quantity and quality of cluster development are related, and generally has a process of changing from quantity to quality.On the basis of literature review, the author firstly studied the dimensions of entrepreneurial talents in cluster environment. Based on the data collection by survey and interview, through factor analysis, extracted four dimensions of cluster entrepreneurial talents behavior respectively as opportunity recognition, resources gaining, innovation and learning. The author gave analysis for each dimension, and studied the influence of cluster environment on entrepreneurial talents’micro entrepreneurial behaviors from sociology perspective, and proposed a factor model of entrepreneurial talents behaviors under cluster environment condition.Secondly, through literature analysis, author proposed the framework of two aspects of innovation and scale dynamics on which entrepreneurial talents push the cluster development, and emphasized effect of entrepreneurial talents behaviors cored by knowledge creation on the cluster innovation development. Also, the author highlighted the entrepreneurial talents behaviors cored by spin-off entrepreneurship on the cluster scale expansion. From the perspective of entrepreneurial talents knowledge exchanging, this thesis analyzed the relationship between entrepreneurial learning and cluster innovation development, and the influencing factors of the process mechanism for entrepreneurial talents knowledge exchange leading to the improvement of cluster innovation capability. Finally, a dynamic model was constructed to demonstrate how entrepreneurial talents create knowledge and eventually drive the cluster innovation development.Thirdly, this thesis made a deep study on the issues related to entrepreneurial talents behaviors and cluster scale expansion from the perspective of spin-off entrepreneurial activity. Then, the author suggested the concept of entrepreneurial incubation, and analyzed the concrete process of spin-off entrepreneurship mediated by the formation of entrepreneurial ability, and constructed the dynamics model of industrial cluster development based on spin-off entrepreneurial behavior, by which offered a new explanation about the foundation issue on how to expand scale of cluster through facilitating the related firms setting up. And at the end of the chapter, a typical case about the development of Detroit automobile cluster was studied to verify the framework and model proposed.Fourthly, a comprehensive case of Shaoxing textile industrial cluster was studied to provide an initial verify the overall theoretical analysis above about the dynamic role of entrepreneurial talents behaviors played in the development process of the cluster.The research aims to probe in the key factors and mechanism process of entrepreneurial talents behaviors imposed on the cluster development. This research result and conclusion contribute to the improvement of the theories about cluster development and entrepreneurship, and at the same time, provide a theoretical and practical reference on how to push forward cluster development through influencing entrepreneurial talents behaviors.
