With the rapid development of urban rail transit system in our country,network operating pattern of urban rail transit has been formed gradually.Urban rail transit hub(URTH)is considered as the core node in urban rail transit network,and the functional structure for passenger flow distribution in URTH has evolved into a rather complex service network system.Due to the impacts by many factors such as economy,culture and policy in different citis,there are significant differences in structure and function among different hubs.And then,passenger traffic behavior and passenger flow characteristics among different hubs are diverse.How to define and describe the functional structure for passenger flow distribution in URTH systematically and quantificationally?How to research topological structure characteristics,dynamic properties and network reliability?How to characterize the interaction relationships among network structure,function,passenger flow and dynamic service level?How to evaluate the reasonability among topology structure design,transport capacity configuration and dynamic service level in URTH?The above-mentioned has become the key issues at present.And for this reason,aiming at the complex environment for passenger flow distribution and considering the related research achievements in URTH,the concept for "Distribution Service Network"(DSN)in URTH is proposed based on the theory and method of complex network,which contains topology structure attribute,transport capacity attribute and passenger flow attribute;the measurement indexes sets and the reliability analysis method of DSN are developed;simulation method for network reliability-oriented and simulation method for dynamic service level evaluation are built;further,the typical URTH is selected for case study.In conclusion,the theory and method of the modeling and simulation of DSN in URTH are established.The main reseach contents in this paper are as follow:(1)A system framework for study on modeling and simulation of DSN in URTH is proposed.Based on the systematic study on the research status and basic theory,the concept for DSN is proposed by the theory and method of complex network,and a system framework for study on modeling and simulation of DSN in URTH is built.(2)The hierarchic models of DSN in URTH are built,the measurement methods for static structure property,static capacity property and dynamic service property are proposed.Based on "facility layout-transport organization-passenger flow distribution",the hierarchic models of DSN which contain entity topology network,transport capacity network and service function network are built;quantificational description method for each network is developed,and the measurement indexes sets are proposed for describing the static structure property,static capacity property and dynamic service property.(3)A reliability analysis method of DSN which contains network adaptivity,network survivability and network effectiveness is developed.Based on the research on structure reliability,capacity reliability and service reliability,the basic connotation of network reliability and deliberate attack strategy are proposed.The measurement indexes sets are proposed for describing network reliability.Under the deliberate attack strategy,interaction relationships among network structure,functiona and passenger flow are built.(4)A system framework for study on simulation of DSN in URTH is proposed,simulation process and implement method are developed,interaction relationships among network structure,function,passenger flow and dynamic service level are built.In which,with the prescribed passenger flow volume and spatial-temporal distribution,the reasonability between topology structure design and transport capacity configuration is evaluated,simulation method for network reliability-oriented is developed;with the prescribed topology structure,transport capacity,passenger flow volume and temporal distribution,dynamic service level of DSN is evaluated,simulation method for dynamic service level evaluation is developed.(5)Beijing South Subway Station is selected for case study,results show that the hierarchic models and simulation methods of DSN are effective,measurement indexes sets of network reliability are reasonable.And then,the research findings could be applied to planning,design and actual operation of URTH.Further,simulation optimization strategy is proposed based on the case results.In this paper,research findings could enrich the theoretical basis and technical method system in URTH,and provide fundamental basis for research on the functional structure for passenger flow distribution in URTH systematically and quantificationally.Further,it could provide the technological means for evaluating the reasonability among topology structure design,transport capacity configuration and dynamic service level in URTH;meanwhile,it could provide the significant reference for planning,design and actual operation of URTH.There are important theoretical value and realistic significance for urban rail transit system operation with safely,efficiently and reliably.
