This dissertation takes historical craft masters of Bauhaus workshops and their teaching at the workshop as the main research contents.Through the educational background of craft masters,teaching methods,teaching contents,works style at the workshop and the influence on students' works,to describe their role played in Bauhaus,the contribution of Bauhaus teaching achievements,the formation of overall works style and the promotion of social influence,to explore their effect and influence in the whole teaching system of Bauhaus.The dissertation through the existing files and data of Bauhaus,takes literature research as the main research method,with analysis comparison method of craft masters and students' works,to reveal the influence of craft masters on students,not only in the implementation of technical means,but also reflect in the exploration of product form and function.The consistency and systematicness presented by Bauhaus teachers and students' works also fully illustrates the communication interaction and mutual promotion between teachers and students.The dissertation firstly from the curriculum reform of European applied art school represented by the United Kingdom,the establishment of teaching at the workshop,the establishment of Bauhaus workshop system,makes the historical tracing.Through the cause analysis of "craftsman" group status,discuss the deep reasons of Bauhaus craft masters not be attention and the lack of research:the prejudice of artist status higher than the craftsman decide their status at Bauhaus,cause the treatment difference and contradiction with form masters,and also affect the development of teaching activities.The third chapter mainly studies the teacher source,professional qualification,teaching contents and responsibilities of craft masters.The fourth chapter through the specific cases of textile workshop and glass workshop to illustrate the teaching situation in the workshop,and the main aspects of effect of student' design and production activities.The fifth chapter in the case of metal workshop,discuss the cooperation and game between form master and craft master in the workshop,with different effects on students.In the case of books workshop,behind the conflict between craft masters and students' works concept,reflect the art concept difference between form master and craft master,and the conflict between traditional handicraft manufacture and machine mass production.In the cooperation and conflict,also reflect the transformation of Bauhaus teaching principles,and exploring spirit and times pioneering in design.The dissertation finally draws the conclusion:in Bauhaus workshops,technology and art,form and function,theory and practice are mutual existent,not completely opposite.Bauhaus product style is generated in the mutual promotion of teachers and students,over exaggerating the effect of either aspect is not objective.The students,form masters and craft masters form a coupling system,when three subsystems with mutual adaptation,the works reflect strong consistency;when without mutual adaptation,adjust to each other to make change,or result in personnel replacement.
