One of the core problems in the study of urban planning is how the urban space affect individual, and discuss the performance of urban lifestyle(Urbanism)and its formation mechanism. The focus of urban planning transfers from the research of human-land relationship to the human-social relationship. With the rapid development of China's economy, the relation between the quality of life of residents' health behavior and the specific environment characteristics have become a new important areas of urban planning studies.Based on micro individual health behavior of the event, and this study treat the relations between the settlements in built environment and residents health activities as the basic foothold, and we defined the residents' health activity behaviors as individual residents daily life in the built environment, which must be beneficial to the body and it is a kind of recreation behavior mode.We use GPS technology to collect Beijing residents' daily activities data in 2012 in Beijing shangdi-qinghe regional, and we also conducted another questionnaires in shangdi-qinghe area in 2015,including 16 residential settlements' built-environment.Based on these data,we established a multinomial logistic model, factor analysis model and ArcGIS spatial analysis model,to conduct our research from three aspects:characteristics of the built environment and healthy activity space, the theoretical relationship between built environment and the health building, the mechanism impact of built environment factors on the health activity. And we get the following conclusions:1)The impact of built-environment upon physical acitivities:The built-environment has a significant effect on residents' health activity, and the effects of built-environment variables on health activity duration and degree of satisfaction of direction is different.2)The effects of built-year on the correlations between built-environment and physical activities:the built-year may significantly affect the residents' health activities in terms of same built-environmental elements. For instance, the green coverage ratio is positively correlated to the qualities and levels of physical activities in the communities built in 1990s but nagtively correlated to these in the communities built after the year of 2000.3)Accessment of the impact of built-environment upon physical activities:From the small-scale analysis,we found that the impacting mechanism of built environment on the residents health activity is significant, and the built-environment can be divided into six main factors:the main factor F1 is overall coordination factor of health activity space, the main factor F2 is diversity factor of health activity facilities, the main health factor of activity space accessibility F3,the main factor F4 is comfort factor of health activity, the main factor F5 is health safety factor, the main factor F6 is space cleaning factor. The total variance of the six factors is 80.106%,basically which can explain the effect of built-environment on the of residents' health activities.4)The strategies of improving the environment of physical activity:Based upon the effect machanisms found in this research and established correlational models,we proposed comprehensive, diversificational, and specialized strategies to enhance residents'health activities in different types of communities.Last, the concept of "human and nature","people-oriented","residential area ecosystem" will help improve the environment of physical activity of local people.
