Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat, Its dried capitulum, is a traditional Chinese medicine. It's used for "scattering cold","cleaning heat and toxin" and “brightening eyes".After long-term artificial cultivation, there were "Hangju', 'Gongju', 'Boju', 'Chuju','Huaiju','Jiju', 'Qiju', 'Chuanju', total eight series of C morifolium. Nowadays. C morifolium cv 'Hangju' had became the most popular herb tea and medicinal materials, that was with widely cultivation by many places. In order to compare the quality of C.morifolium cv 'Hangju', the study was mainly focused on following aspects: comparison of quality among C. morifolium; cultivated botanical characteristics of C. morifolium cv'Hangju'; dynamic accumulation of inner bioactive components during florescence;influence of environment and climate with bioactive components, botanical characteristics in C. morifolium cv 'Hangju'; the relationship of seeding quality with the quality of C.morifolium cv 'Hangju'. The results were as follows:1. The results of the comparison of bioactive components showed that: there were significant differences among cultivated C. morifolium in contents of total flavonoids, galuteolin, quercitrin, chlorogenic acid and 3,5-O-caffeoylquinic acid. The quality of C morifolium could be visualized by the analysis of principal component. The results of analysis of principal component by mentioned five parameters, showed that 'Dabai'(Sheyang, Jiangsu) was the highest value of F: 4.054, the lowest value of F was 'Qi'(Anguo, Hebei) -2.314.2 In order to comparison of botanical characteristics among leaves of 12 cultivated C.morifolium. The results of scanning electron microscope observation showed that there were significant differences in: stomatal density, stomatal size, gland density, trichome length and density, epidermal wax content, which could provide the basis for identification of C. morifolium seedings. By compared contents of biocacti ve components in 30 cultivated C. morifolium, significant differences were also existed.3 By compared botanical characteristics of C. morifolium cv 'Hangju' in different origins, plants?leaves and capitulum were distinguished from origins and cultivars, the same differences were also existed in main bioactive components.4 The relationship between environment, climatic and botanical characteristics revealed that elements "Mg,Ca,P" had the effect of plant growth promoting; elements "Fe, Cr" had the opposite effects. Similarly, relative high value of pH and "Sunshine hours",could promote the growth of plants the high content of "available K" and "annual precipitation" may do the opposite. The environment, climatic could also affect the bioactive component, "organic matter" could promote the accumulation of bioactive component,"available K" was the inhibition.5. The seeding grades of C. morifolium cv "Hangju' were made by analysis of principal component and K-means. The final standard of seeding grades was euclidean distance. The"plant height" and "ground diameter" were the parameters of grades: A:??0.35 cm,??20.43 cm; B: 0.35>??0.28 cm, 20.43>??18.54 cm; C: a<0.28 cm, ?<18.54 cm. The A grade was advantage in plants growth and content of bioactive component. Therefore, the seeding quality was the basis of the quality of the C. morifolium cv 'Hangju'.
