Judgment of learning (JOLs) are predictions which concerns how likely a person thinks it is that they will remember information at some later time. JOL is a kind of monitor in metamemory, it plays a very important role for the individual in monitoring the learning process, the accuracy of JOLs will help improve the learning efficiency of the learners'knowledge and skills. The grade and the accuracy of JOLs are the main indexes of the study. The study on JOLs mostly focuses on the impact factors of JOLs. The present research explored the effect of TBR and the personality traits on the grade and the absolute accuracy of JOLs from two aspects of the task variables and the individual variables.Firstly, the present research reviewed both the theoretical and empirical studies from aspects of JOL, personality traits, and the relationship between JOL and personality traits, explored the effect of TBR and personality traits to JOLs by questionnaire and experimental research methods.According to the occurrence time on JOLs, the research had two parts. The first part is to investigate the effect of TBR and personality traits to the immediate JOLs. The second part discusses the influence of TBR and personality traits on delayed JOLs. Each part is divided into three experiments, inspecting the impact of extroversion, neuroticism and personality traits mixed with extraversion and neuroticism with TBR to the JOLs. Each experiment is based on the degree of JOLs, judgment deviation of JOLs, and absolute accuracy of JOLs, and each past investigated the item-by- item JOLs and the overall item JOLs.The results shows that:(1)TBR and personality traits had an interaction effect on the individual's JOLs and its absolute accuracy;(2)Different personality traits had different effects on the individual's JOLs and its absolute accuracy under the conditions of different TBR and JOLs types;(3)TBR had different effects on the individual's JOLs and its absolute accuracy under the conditions of different personality traits and JOLs types;(4)There is a delayed effect on the item-by-item JOLs and no delayed effect on the overall item JOLs to the individuals of different personality traits;(5)There is aggregate effect, that is the aggregate JOL's magnitude is lower than the item-by-item JOL's, and the aggregate JOL's accuracy is higher than the item-by-item JOL's.
