Judgment of learning, as an important form of metacognition prospective monitories, is to predicatively judge learners'achievement in the recall tests after learners finish their learning. The study on accuracy of learning judgment can discuss how human beings monitor and control their memories and provide the theoretical and methodological basis for the development of teenagers'intellectual. Previous studies have shown that the cue type is a significant variable to affect the accuracy of learning judgment. The different type of extrinsic cues will exert different impact on the accuracy of learning judgment. Therefore, combining with the cognitive style, so this paper will discuss how the different extrinsic cues influence the accuracy of learning judgment in order to find the better way of improving the accuracy of learners'learning judgment.This paper will be divided into two parts and junior school students are the research subjects. These two parts adopt two kinds of methods to discus whether the different extrinsic cues can improve the accuracy of learning judgment better. In the first part, the method is 2 (cognitive style: field independent and field dependent)×4 (types of words: identical words, clue words target words and disparate words)×2(presentation mode: presentation in order and presentation at the same time). The second part adopts the method: 2(cognitive style: field independent and field dependent)×4(types of words: identical words, clue words, target words and disparate words)×2 (time of judgment: immediate judgment and delayed judgment).Through these two researches, the conclusions are summarized:First, the target type makes the significant effect on accuracy of learning judgment. The accuracy of learning judgment with the same target cues is higher than the accuracy of learning judgment with the single target cue.Second, presentation mode and the judgment time have different influences on the accuracy of learning judgment. Presentation in order and the delayed judgment can both improve the learning judgment level of the subjects.Third, the field independent and the field dependent produce different sensitivity to the two kinds of extrinsic cues: the presentation mode and the judgment of time interval. Moreover, the field independent presented in order can make the judgment of learning better and improve the memory performance. However, the field independent can not make use of the condition of the delayed judgment better, so at this time the field dependent displays the advantages.
