A Special Study On The Names And Descriptions Of Things Of Poems In The Tang And Five Dynasties

This dissertation studies on the names and descriptions of things of poems in the Tang and Five Dynasties,and use poetic text as its carrier.The special study,based on the fully excavation of ancient works,can make a full use of the unearthed document,the foreign Chinese classics,the ancient paintings and the archaeological resources.It will focus more on a groundbreaking study which change the traditional mode of observation,and try more to present a primary literary environment,as well as the special literary phenomenon,and to correct the error of former comment notes.The article structure expands with two clues:comprehensive studies and a few case studies.There are six chapters and mainly focuses on the following aspects:First,a theoretical research on the names and descriptions of things.The first chapter sets a constructivism theory to separate the method between the new research and the classical one.The range of study,the depth of investigation and the way,it’s all very different.The research of this article calls for the accumulation of abundant valuable materials which is good for leading to a literariness spirit.This chapter also made a definition of the Mingwu and Yixiang,and generalized the concerned and separate relationship between the two.Second,a study on the gold and silver ornaments in the classical poetry of the Tang and Five Dynasties.The gold and silver ornaments are very special,they include degrees of wealth accumulation and become an important part of the society,at the same time,show social visage of a dynasty.Chapter 2 make the textual research about the ornaments appear in poems through a broad classification.There are many gold and silver ornaments involved in classical poems of the Tang and Five Dynasties They are tiaras,hair accessories,earrings,hand jewelries,clothing,etc.The point is the vocal and tinctorial depiction of the ornaments in poems,the combination and transmission of the images in poems,the emotional involvement of the gold and silver ornaments in poems.Third,a study on the musical instruments in the classical poetry.There are many poems talking about instruments,this chapter gives an overall discussion on its structure changes and literary characteristics.Instruments are grouped into three categories:the band music,string instruments and the percussion instrument.This chapter also combs the idea and the convergent character of Di.Some new points came out,like Tancao is not Qinge,Jinxie is not artificial decoration,Cuzhu is not Jixian,Dakong Hou and Xiaokong Hou are both harp.Finally,it talks about the onomatopoetic effects,the expression of feelings and the conception making presented by instruments.Fourth,a study on things in boudoir.This chapter carry out the point based on Complete Tang Poems and Huajian Ci.we choose some important representative items:screens,pillows,windows,curtains,lamps and candles.In the writing here,I dive deep into the literary phenomenon like Zhenni and Beideng which help to restore a real background of boudoir in the Tang and Five dynasties.Fifth,a research on the names and descriptions of things in ancient classics.Different poets use different art forms and they are quite distinct from each other.Chapter 5 is a case study,which primarily select three classic works:Wenting Yun’ s Pusa Man,Baiju Yi’s Changhen Ge and Dufu’s Liren Xing.This chapter comes up with new ideas.For example,finding a new angle to inspect Xiaoshan,explaining different meanings of Huadian in literature environment,trying best to correct the misreading about Zhuya Yaojie.Sixth,a research on the specific names.Chapter 6 is also a case study,which primarily select three distinctive nouns:Chaitou Feng,Zan ’ er,Cujin.the study have focused on the material object,also the literary significance and cultural connotations.Finding literary and sentimental meaning from material nouns is a mode of production about classical literature which we should pay more attention to.
