Based on the case studies of Kaiho Gyoson, Takezoe koukou, Inoue Tetsujirou, the narrative is talking with the advance and evolution of Japanese Sinology, Western culture receiving mode under the Western influence.In First chapter, for Kaiho Gyoson (1798-1866), the narrative is talking with from Kansei to Edo shogunate and the Meiji Restoration, the propulsion of Japanese Sinology. Kaiho Gyoson study with Oota Kinnjyou(1765-1825), who is roughly quite to the scholars uring the period in the reign of Chinese Emperor Qianlong, Jiaqing. In Bunka and Bunsei eras(1804-1830), a lot of introduction of textual research and science related books in Japan, basically negate Yi Diqing academic. Its reason lies in alternation between the Ming and the Qing Dynasties, which resulted in a broken down on orthodoxy. Therefore, by textual research negating works in Qing Dynasty, Kaiho explore the ancient meaning before Tang Dynasty.In seconder chapter, for Takezoe Koukou (1842-1917), the narrative is talking with Japan the history change before and after the Meiji Restoration. Takezoe Koukou attaches great importance to the Qing Dynasty works. The reason is that he has visited the Qing Dynasty officers and made academic exchanges. After the Meiji Restoration, under the influence of the western learning spreading to the East, Japan's mainstream thought turn into Western thought. Western thought being the mainstream in Japanese academic circles, Takezoe counter the western with Oriental scholarship.In third chapter, for Inoue Tetsujirou (1842-1917), the narrative is talking with the change and state of Confucian classics under the impact of western culture. Inoue, the same as Takezoe, feel the loss of moral crisis with of the western in Japan. However, compared to the two men mentioned before, the great distinction is that receiving the new teaching system, Inoue belongs to Japanese college students of first batch, as well as first Japanese professor of philosophy. His academic contains eastern and western philosophy, that is to say, Inoue did not antagonize western learning, but according to the Western Sinology, he has made a tremendous contribution in Sinology research, that is to say, his school concept on the base of Confucian in Edo period get consistent approval.The mentioned three scholars all have relationship with Tokyo University academic groups leading in the Japanese academic circles after the Meiji Restoration. This thesis intends to particularly reveal the way of Japanese receiving Western learning, through the three scholars'academic activities and works who glitter from the end of the Edo to different periods after the Meiji period.
