Study On Tam Cam Stories Of The Fairy Tales In The Vietnamese Cinderella Style

Fairy tales is the most important part of folk stories treasure.Its emergence and development in all nations with rich variety of life and reflect the real life of the people.As one of folk literatures,fairy tales has both international and national reflections of cultural characteristics.In recent years,in terms of Vietnam folk literatures,the concept of fairy tales is still very strange,mainly because of its own source and frequency of use.For fairy tales in the foreign sources,Vietnam mainly borrowed from Chinese fairy tale plots and absorbed the inspiration of India in the fairy tale,mythical subtype as the foundation,while meeting the Vietnamese national aesthetic standard and customs work.In the local sources,fairy tale includes four subtypes including semi-myths,myths,historic stories,and real-life stories.Vietnam's fairy tales changes with the development of different historical times.In the feudal period fairy tale about art has greatly improved and reflected the rich religious color,showed the image of heroes that people respected,and reflected the power,wisdom and ethics of the Vietnamese people.In the era of Tran,because of publicizing the worship of Buddha,so a large number of strange stories started to appear.In modern times,the entry of more and more foreign essays and short story made the Vietnam fairy tales gradually lost its own artistic characteristics and declining.The Cinderella-type stories of Vietnam 'The story of Tam Cam'(fine rice bran)as Vietnam folk literature heritage is both typical and a widely known story,and reflect various conflicts in the Vietnamese ancient society.It also shows the Vietnam national customs,their habits and beliefs,and also manifests in the Vietnamese people's values and outlook on their life.Cinderella-type Tam Cam stories include five parts:the identity of the orphan girl,get married,beaning murdered,turns into a struggle and the ending.The kindhearted Tam who lost her mother when she was a child,then was abused by her stepmother,later miraculously escaped,met the Prince Charming prince and got murdered after her marriage,and eventually after going through many lives she found her own happiness.The main ideas of Tam Cam story include:the relationship between stepmother and stepchildren,uniqueness and rebirth.In the relationship between stepmother and stepchildren,out of jealousy the stepmother torture her stepchildren,and stepsisters were making troubles out of jealousy.The main idea of Tam Cam story "The uniqueness" is different from the Cinderella story.For example,the last small fish left in the creel,the only one person's foot can fit the golden shoe,the old lady who can make the "qua thi" fruit fall down and confirm the identity of the betel nut,etc.The main idea "Rebirth" happened in the end the story,Tam after going through death and resurrection for many times,she finally rebirthed and defeat the evil power.In the struggle between Good and Evil,Tam Cam represented the Good side which defeated the Evil,and also a representation of"virtue has its rewards".The fairy tale Tam Cam turned into a historical legend while spreading in the north of Vietnam.The Tam Cam story converted to a historical legend Yi Lan queen,which means the Tam Cam as a reprehensive image of Vietnamese women and Yi Lan queen-the mother of the nation,are combined into one.The young generation should learn their kind,intelligent,strong character and the image of the heroine.At present,Vietnam has 72 temples in total were built for worshiping Tam Cam,and it mostly located in the is the northern part of Kinh Bac,which is rich of traditional culture,include Duong Xa Tam's pavilion-hall-temple site group(Gia Lam,Hanoi city),Dai Lam temple(Nam Son vill,Bac Ninh province),Huong Lang temple(Nhu Quynh,Hung Yen province)and Ghenh tepmle(Van Lam,Hai Duong province),etc.In these places in people's mind,the fairy tale's main character Tam Cam is about Y Lan queen.Even in the north in Kinh Bac cultural sphere also worship Tam Cam,but the custom of the Tam memorial site is different.Some temples still held Tam Cam ritual ceremonies and folk performances,and an important local festival;and there is the reason why although there are some antiquities left,but the original sacrifice customs have been lost.Nevertheless,Y Lan queen will always be held in the esteem and grateful by the people in Tam Cam temple in north Kinh Bac zone.Cinderella story as the world most widely spread,the most popular type of folk tales,in different ethnic,geographical and historical era,spread the Cinderella-type story.Chinese and Vietnamese Cinderella-type story is also different,contains a different cultural features and deep imprint of the age.This paper chose The story of Tam Cam and Ye xian as a representative text of Cinderella story type in Vietnam and China and make comparative analysis of the two cases,cover a wide range area in south China and north Vietnam.From the perspective of comparative literature,literary phenomenon is often have similarities and differences at the same time,compare the two stories plot and similarity between the main idea,and considering the cultural tradition,social background,psychological and personal psychological factors such as the author,we can find that every different version of Cinderella story and with the time change has its own deep social and historical background impact,the difference between the means of expression in the two works reflected the stage characteristics of literature development.We summarized the common ideas as follows:First,the heroine being abused and getting help from the magic power;Second,the high-class marriage can change destiny;Third,the heroine being trapped and continuously reincarnation;Four,reunite and punishment.The differences are in three aspects the image of the extraordinary power and the image of heroine 's metempsychosis,local customs and historical influence,such as the old society.The assistant of the powerful Goddess of Cow in Chinese type of Cinderella story associated with cattle belief culture in south part of China,the frequent appearance of witchcraft elements reflects the residual desire of ancient primitive ancestors to conquer nature;the general appearance of Buddha image in Vietnam's type of Cinderella story is influenced by Buddhism.Both Chinese and Vietnamese type of Cinderella story have their unique characteristics of the historical era,but they have different specific performance.Chinese type of Cinderella story still remains the primitive society residual wife's sister marriage customs,the betel nut of Tam Cam the Vietnam's type of Cinderella story reflect Vietnamese ancient social life and the importance of happy marriage;China's Yexian story is a unique treasure of Tang Dynasty imprint,it not only reflected people's real needs,but also reflected their romantic ideals,while the plot in the Vietnam type of Cinderella story Tam Cam is"the evil stepsister death by poured hot water" and "mother ate her daughter's meat by mistake" are originated from ancient primitive ancestors eating human flesh phenomenon.
