Comparing is one of people' s common cognitive and thinking modes and c omparative sentence is the direct reflection of this thinking mode on langu age.Comparative sentence plays an important role in studies on Chinese gra mmar and is a prominent part in TCSL(teaching Chinese as a second languag e).The acquisition of language is in fact the acquisition of features. The theory of feature-assembly in second language acquisition proposed by Lard iere is based on the comparative analysis of the first and second language features. It holds that features that can be identified can be acquired and the key to successfully acquire the second language is to assemble the fea tures into the relative lexical items of the second language. The first and second language differ in feature library, feature distribution and featur e assembly. The process of the second language learning is the process of a ssembling the language features. In order to effectively identify this proc ess,we need first identify what features the language have, and how these features are extracted and assembled. This theory is an attempt at studies in second language acquisition and has good application value. This study is based on the teaching of Chinese as the second language. The object is Chinese comparative sentences with the words Bi,Gen,You,an d Korean comparative sentences with the words(?),(?),(?).Based on t he comparative analysis of Chinese and Korean comparative sentences, the st udy focuses on the description and analysis of comparative sentences.Absorb ing the achievements in Chinese language study, this study compares Chinese and Korean comparative sentences from multiple perspectives, designated to explore the correspondence and conditions between comparative sentences in two languages, and to reveal their universality and individuality in synta x and semantics.Using Theory of Feature Assembly, this study analyzes and extracts the respective features of Chinese and Korean comparative sentenc es,and based on that, assembles their features. The specific content is pr esented as follows.Chapter one is an introduction to the study which presents the signific ance, framework, method and corpus sources of the study, and analyzes the p revious related research.Chapter two is about the definition and classification of Chinese and K orean comparative sentences, using prototype theory and theories and method s in cognitive linguistics for reference.Based on the idea that meaning sh ould match syntactic form, the study determines the semantic classes and st ructural forms of Chinese and Korean comparative sentences.Comparison can be classed into equivalent and inequivalent comparisons, and sub-classed in to five types,i.e.the equivalent, the approximate, the superior, the infe rior and the different comparison. The typical Chinese comparative sentence is structured as comparative subject+comparative marker+comparative object+comparative result, and the typical Korean comparative sentence is structu red as comparative subject+comparative object+comparative marker+comparativ e result.Chapter three, four and five are about semantic and syntactic features of Chinese and Korean comparative sentences. The study is conducted centeri ng around Chinese comparative sentences with the words Bi,You,Gen,and Ko rean comparative sentences with the words(?),(?),(?),and makes anal ysis about their semantic and syntactic features. The feature analysis is made from the perspectives of comparative item, comparative point and comp arative result item. The study employs different linguistic theories and me thods, and deeply researches Chinese and Korean comparative sentences from perspectives of asymmetry, quantitative trait, subjectivity trait, and comp arative point looming. The result shows that Chinese and Korean comparative sentences are similar globally, but are not completely correspondent in sem antic and syntactic forms of individual and concrete components. As a native Korean speaker, the researcher accidentally finds a special group of comparative sentences with Bi in Chinese, which have not received full attention in the field of Linguistics.According to the specializatio n of different comparative constituents, this study classifies these compar ative sentences into three types:specialization of comparative objects,ob jectification of comparative results and nominalization of comparative valu es,and gives illustrations, thus providing reference for ontology research on Chinese comparative sentences and a new research perspective.Chapter six is about the feature assembly of Chinese and Korean compara tive sentences. The analysis is centered around comparative items, comparat ive points and comparative result items of Chinese and Korean comparative s entences from the perspectives of Korean learners' Chinese learning and Ch inese learners' Korean learning. Conclusions are as follows.First, there are four types of feature assembly of Chinese and Korean c omparative sentences.a.The identical features of the first language and the second language are chosen, restructured into corresponding function cl ass and mapped onto lexical items of the second language.b.Comparatively similar features of the first language and the second language are chosen.c.Some identical features are chosen and peculiar features of the secon d language are added.d.A part of features of the first language are chos en and other features of the second language are different from those of t he first language.Second, there are four types of semantic feature assembly of Chinese an d Korean comparative sentences. The first type includes feature assembly of the comparative point of Chinese comparative sentences with Bi,Korean com parative sentences with(?),the comparative item and comparative point of Chinese comparative sentences with You,Korean comparative sentences with(?),the comparative item, comparative point and comparative result item o f Chinese comparative sentences with Gen,Korean comparative sentences with(?).The second type includes feature assembly of the comparative item o f Chinese comparative sentences with Bi,the comparative result item of Kor ean comparative sentences with(?).The third type includes feature assemb 1y of the comparative result item of Chinese comparative sentences with You,the comparative item of Korean comparative sentences with(?).The fourth type includes feature assembly of the comparative result item of Chinese c omparative sentences with Bi and Korean comparative sentences with(?).Third, there are three types of syntactic feature assembly of Chinese a nd Korean comparative sentences. The first type includes feature assembly o f the comparative result item of Chinese comparative sentences with Gen,th e comparative item of Korean comparative sentences with(?),(?),and(?).The second type includes feature assembly of the comparative item of C hinese comparative sentences with Bi,You,and Gen,the comparative result item of Korean comparative sentences with(?).The third type includes th e word order, comparative point and comparative result item of Chinese comp arative sentences with You and Korean comparative sentences with(?)and(?),the word order, comparative point of Chinese comparative sentences wi th Gen and Korean comparative sentences with(?).Chapter seven is the conclusion that summarizes this study and points o ut the innovation and the deficiencies of the study.
