A Study On The Arhat's Image And Style

This paper mainly investigates how the Lohan Arhats' faith is introduced into China,that is,to pay attention to the development of Buddhism in China.And discusses the process of Luo Han image generation,as well as the evolution of Luo Han image in later painting history and its style change.One of the five generations of painter Guan Hugh's description of the Lohan was later hailed as "wild Yat phase",the history of Chinese painting Luo Han is an important style.At the same time,during the Five Dynasties period,there appeared a style different from Guanhuan 's Luohan painting.The representatives of this secular style were Zhang Xuan and the two became the two main styles of the development of the Five Dynasties.In the later period of painting history,there are artists such as Zhao Mengfu and Wu Bin who are good at portraying Luo Han 's paintings.This paper discusses their styles and the reasons for their formation.
