On The Relationship Between Modern Chinese Novelist And A Dream Of Red Mansions

The cultural environment of modem novel's generation is complex and diverse,it includs both external factors, as the influences of western culture , and also the internal factors as the influences of classical Chinese novel. As the monumental work of Chinese cultural and literary, A dream of Red Mansions is a supreme masterpiece of Chinese traditional culture and classical novels. A dream of Red Mansions is the original, prototype and model of the modern novels. The study of the relationship between A dream of Red Mansions and modern novels was a new subject after "May 4th Movement",it has been popular in recent years,but most of the study are still stop at the single study,and they are mainly expounding on the level of narrativing and character comparing. Obviously they looks not enough on width,depth and systematic.This thesis is trying to find a new way for the new historical period Chinese novels by analyse and organize the relationship between the classical novel A dream of Red Mansions and mordon novels especially full-length novels, on the foundation of recalling the modernizing history of Chinese novel and the shaping history of the strong "Chinese imposing manner and style",by the ways of comparing and work perusing, from the view of culture born environment.This thesis includs 9 parts.The introduction is commenting the present situation about the research by the view of academic history and analysing the "Red Mansions complex " of Chinese literature .It also explanes this thesis's view, study method and original ideas. Ecology vision of culture, returning to the text and mutually organization are the biggest original ideas of this thesis.The second part gives a neat summary of the practice of culture ecology and the characteristics of China modern times ,study the influences of A dream of Red Mansions on Chinese modern novels and modem novel spirit by the vision of culture ecology.The third part, from the problem of "how to be a father ",analyses the "examine father" consciousness of CaoXueqin and LuXun, expounds their culture reflecting spirit.The fourth part,compares CaoXueqin with ZhangHenshui ,as Jinfenshijia were called A dream of Red Mansions in the early years of the Chinese Republic, but because the two writer' s cultural position and cultural choice are different,there are significant differences on the realm of thought.The fifth part,from the reality of literature and literary realism spirit perspective,analyses the influence of MaoDun's realistic literary view on A dream of Red Mansions widespread as a realistic model,points out that A dream of Red Mansions has a realistic, but it is not pure realistic. The sixth part, focus on"growing pains",pointed out that A dream of Red Mansions and home represent"refuse to grow up" and "eager to grow up" two "growth" types,and pointed out that although the home is called "modems" A dream of Red Mansions, but the two in the spirit of literature appeals are quite different, the fundamental difference is: home is'"writing revolution" passion of youth, A dream of Red Mansions is "adult memories of youth writing". The seventh part of the article, in the perspective of civilian control culture and noble culture,as two same Manchu ethnic writers,and as two same culture reflecting writers, study CaoXueqin and Laoshe comprehensively . The eighth part of the article,analyses the influences of A dream of Red Mansions on ZhangAiling's"nightmare" by the view of gender character change.As focus on ZhangAiling's "examine mother" consciousness,analyses the most similar novel"small reunion" with A dream of Red Mansions. The ninth part of the article, as a conclusion, mainly discusses the A dream of Red Mansions influence on contemporary continuation, called for the study of A dream of Red Mansions return to the right path-----read A dream of Red Mansions as a novel, take Cao Xueqin as a writer.
