Qing poetry collections in Anhui reflect the prosperity of Anhui Parnassus in Qing Dynasty with their rich category and large quantity.Edited by a celebrated poet of Late Qing Dynasty named Chen Shi,Wan Ya Chu Ji is a provincial poetry collection covering the whole Anhui Province at that time.The editor Chen Shi had been learning widely from others and had developed his unique style,with his Wan Ya Chu Ji embodying the three features of region,clan and community.From the personal aesthetics of Chen Shi and the practical development of Anhui Parnassus in Qing Dynasty,Wan Ya Chu Ji integrates the poetics of Tang and Song dynasties,and takes both of the poetic style and emotion into account,thus showing the accommodating feature.Also by paying attention to "preserving poetry with poets,and preserving poets with poetry",this collection condenses the poetic function of history perseverance by listing the poets' biographies at the beginning,citing their poems at the end,and corroborating both of them.Wan Ya Chu Ji not only reflects the local cultural memory,so as to formulate the cross-literary meanings condensed in the words of poetry,but also manifests the Anhui cultural tradition in Qing Dynasty through the poetry collection as a carrier.While the county-class Qing poetry collections in Anhui reveal the appearance of local culture and regional literature.The Qing poetry collections of Tongcheng School restore their literary scenery,with Long Mian Feng Ya,Zongyang Shi Xuan,Gu Tongxiang Shi Xuan and Tong Jiu Ji as the representatives.The Qing poetry collections in the counties of Luzhou and Hezhou enable us to make a brief investigation of the cultural characteristics of Chaohu Lake region.Wanjiang Three Poets and Hefei Three Poets preserve the poem fames in the form of poetry collections.The culture of Ningguo Fu was of prosperity in Xuancheng and Jing County,where the Qing poetry collections appear to be pure and fresh in literary aesthetics,and provide a rare insight into the impact of Yangming Philosophy on the local area in content.As the local Qing poetry collection of Taiping Fu,Nan Zhou Shi Lue manifests distinct local worship of the poet Li Bai.While Dazhang Feng Ya compiled by Dazhang village of Huizhou Fu is a reflection of the prevalence of Buddhism in this region.Compiled by Li Zhaoluo and Cast light by his poetics,Xiao Shan Si Yin objectively demonstrates the state of Shouzhou Parnassus in Qing dynasty.There are much more Qing poetry collections of clan class in Anhui province,showing the prosperity of the local clans.The Anhui aristocratic families were interested in compiling the poetry collections of the clans,or to show their clan status,or to express their admiration for the clan ancestors.Clan poetry collections often appeared in the form of engraving printing.The form,process,even household name of engraving printing,all reflect the prosperity of Anhui clans in Qing dynasty.Both the engraving printing and the concrete content of poetry collections are about the poetry lessons of clan children and the inherence of family trait,or about the publicity of clan reputation with poetry collections as the carrier whose significance is beyond the scope of literature and reflects the cross-literariness.More examples are Xin'an Er Jiang Xian Sheng Ji and Xin'an Xian Ji,which reappear the migration and development of Jiang's and Zhu's clans to Jiangsu and Zhejiang.However,from Qing poetry collections of exercise-writing Class,Ziyang Jia Shu Shi Chao,Liyang Zhu Zhi Ci and Wanjiang Cai Feng Lu give a glimpse of exercise-writing poetry in Qing dynasty literature as a whole from the three levels of family school,local college and imperial observation.The Qing poetry collections of responsory class in Anhui embody the development of responsory practices from singing and replying to meeting and forming an association.Moreover,the two distinctive Qing poetry collections of boudoir poetess in Anhui,Tongshan Ming Yuan Shi Chao and Huizhou Nü Zi Shi Xuan,confirm that poetry collections not only preserve the poetry text,but also express the characteristics of the times and the value judgment of the editors.From provincial region,county,clan,exercise-writing,responsory,boudoir poetess and other multiple angles and levels,Qing poetry collections in Anhui present the developing appearance of Qing dynasty poetry in Anhui,and reveal the carrier value of recording poetry,narrating history and observing customs so as to mirror the local achievements of Qing poetry creation.It is of great significance to study the Qing poetry collections in Anhui in the view of local literature history.
