Research On Zhang Wentian's Diplomatic Thoughts

Zhang Wentian is an important member of the diplomatic leadership in new China. In1950s, international relations are changeable and complicated. As outstanding Marxist theoretician and the new China's first generation scholars, Zhang Wentian always struggling in the diplomatic front and has made important contributions to China's diplomatic work from the republic established to the Lushan Meeting in1959. In the complicated foreign exchanges, Zhang Wentian creatively inherited and developed the Marxist theory of diplomacy according to basic principles of Marxism, combined with the new actual situation of China's diplomatic work, gradually formed consistent,supporting each other, systematic diplomatic thoughts.Based on Zhang Wentian's Diplomatic Thoughts as research object, the article comprehensively and systematically study and research Zhang Wentian's diplomatic strategy thoughts, diplomatic policy and strategic thoughts and diplomatic foundation construction thoughts after combing and analyzing to its theoretical origins and historical conditions, and on this basis, the text comprehensively evaluate the historic position and influence of Zhang Wentian diplomatic thoughts. This body part includes six chapters:The first chapter outlines and analyzes the theoretical origins and historical conditions of the foundation of Zhang Wentian's Diplomatic Thoughts. This chapter combed the diplomatic theories and thoughts of Marxist classical writers and Chinese traditional culture on Zhang Wentian's diplomatic thinking, discusses the critical inheritance of Zhang Wentian's diplomacy thoughts on diplomatic theory of Marxist classical writers and reasonable absorption to the thoughts of "advocating harmony" and "harmony in diversity". Through detailed analysis of typical cases, the text elaborates Zhang Wentian's broad vision of the world, practical experience of leading the diplomatic work and keen diplomatic thinking, points out its historical formation conditions of Zhang Wentian's diplomacy thoughts.The second chapter examines Zhang Wentian's diplomatic strategic thoughts. Through Zhang Wentian's elaboration on the world situation and the basic judgment of peace and war, the text analyzes his "War and Revolution" breakthrough in the traditional concept of the times, explores the theoretical sources and practical basis of the idea that "the world war can be avoided".
