On The Interaction Between National Identity And Cultural Identity Of Huizu In The Perspective Of Communication

There are four kinds of relationship between national identity and cultural identity.First,national identity contains cultural identity.Secondly,cultural identity contains national identity.Third,cultural identity and national identity include each other.The Fourth,cultural identity and national identity has little to do.The relationship between national identity and cultural identity is a kind of interactive relationship in the study of national identity and cultural identity of Huizu.The paper discusses the interactive relationship between the national identity and cultural identity of Huizu from the standpoint of theory,the concepts such as identity,national identity,cultural identity,communication should be organically discussed.The identity of the Huizu include chinese national identity and the Muslim identity from political connotation and cultural connotation.The outline of national identity include its definition,model and promotion,the central issue that discesses is the problem of the establishment and expression of Huizu's national identity.The outline of cultural identity of Huizu include its definition,model and promotion,the central issue that discesses is the problem of the establishment and expression of Huizu's Muslim identity.The introduction of the communication concept not only is to show that the formation of national identity and cultural identity of Huizu respectively,and the establishment and expression of national identity and the Muslim identity have a direct relationship with communication of subject,but also is to show that communication of subject should influence the interaction between national identity and cultural identity.The paper theoretically analyses the interaction between national identity and cultural identity,at the same time it rethinks the reasons,models,characteristics and rules,and makes a point that Huizu will fight for freedom of worship,will not figh for national sovereignty.The interaction between national identity and cultural identity come from communication of subject.Interaction of the communication among subjects will eventually form two kinds of relationships,political relationships and cultural relationships,and form two kinds of identity,national identity and cultural identity.Communication among subjects will contribute to the formation of interactive relationship between national identity and cultural identity.Research for the interaction between national identity and cultural identity from the standpoint of history,and find that the subjects among the community of communication wonder if it is possible for them to coreectly share or interpretate the background knowledge each other,and to reach a common sense,and to assort with behaviour,that not only is related to the communication of subjects,but also is related to the interaction between national identity and cultural identity of Huizu's subjective world.Through the analysis of the laws and policies of the government,we found that when the government relied on its sovereignty to intend to strengthen the national identity of Huizu by formulating and implementing laws and policies,they would also strengthen the national identity of Huizu objectively,at the same time this kind of reinforcement would also affect the Huizu Muslim identity,namely the Huizu's national identity would also affect their cultural identity.Of course,if the government would also consider the Huizu's Muslim identity in formulating and implementing policies,that would help Huizu to keep the Muslim identity.Huizu would also actively express their national identity in keeping Muslim identity,namely the Huizu's cultural identity would also affect their national identity.The laws and policies of the respect and assimilation of the Ming dynasty,and the respect and cultural integration of the Republic of China would help the government and the Huizu to communicate and interpret more easily,would also help national identity and cultural identity to keep a good relationship of interaction.On the contrary,discriminatory and oppressive laws and policies of the Qing dynasty created obstacles between Qing government and the Huizu,which also affected the interaction between national identity and cultural identity of Huizu.Of course,there were two kinds of communicative behavior in history:communicative behavior of politics and communicative behavior of culture from the point of view of Huizu.The relationship between national identity and cultural identity of Huizu was a kind of interaction from the Huizu's specific communicative behavior.In other words,the political communicative behavior that Huizu expressed their national identity would influence the expression of their cultural identity;Similarly,the cultural communicative behavior that Huizu expressed their cultural identity would influence the expression of their national identity.The interaction between national identity and cultural identity of Huizu is discussed from the perspective of reality,and find there are some problems,which are related to the interaction among the subjects.Specific for,these problems come from the lack of communicative rationality of subjects,and from different pre-understanding on religion,legal,cultural adaptation of subjects,and from the different interpretation on background knowledge of subjects,and from the wrong policies and events of some of subjects.The paper points out that there are some obstacles or problems among subjects in the contemporary,which will affect the interaction between national identity and cultural identity of Huizu.Even so,subjects can also promote interaction between national identity and cultural identity.The path of promotion would call for the government,Huizu and Han to take action.Since Huizu would handle with the relationship between national identity and cultural identity in the principle of interlinking,then,the principles and methods that would promote the interaction between national identity and cultural identity could be respectively considered from national identity or cultural identity of Huizu,and subjects is to promote the interaction between national identity and cultural identity.The interaction between national identity and cultural identity also shows that the national identity and Muslim identity of Huizu are unified.The national identity and cultural identity of Huizu also plays an important role in dealing with ethnic relations.Specifically,the patriotism,master consciousness,the spirit of dialogue among civilizations and cultural understanding that reflected in the national identity and cultural identity of Huizu,are conducive to the construction of a harmonious ethnic relations.
