We shall attach enough attention to the "cultural independence of Taiwan", give full play to the linking role of the Chinese culture and the traditional cultural resources of "One Country, Two Systems" and continuously strengthen the cultural exchanges and cooperation across the Taiwan Straits and lay a solid foundation for the spiritual dam for the "cultural independence of Taiwan".In the Introduction, the basic thoughts of selection of the topic and writing of the paper are introduced, the theoretical significance and practical value of the attitudes of the Communist Party of China and the Kuomintang toward the Chinese culture are discussed and the present situation of study of the topic is dealt with.Chapter I: With the analysis of the cultural identity of the Chinese culture and the main characteristics of the traditional culture of the Chinese Nation, the cohesive force and centripetal force are dealt with and the permanent value of the spirits of the Chinese Nation are disclosed.Chapter II: With the comparison of the understandings of the traditional culture of the leaders of the Communist Party of China and the Kuomintang, the different orientations of policies and pursuit for values of the two parties are dealt with and the "commonalities" and "differences" of the two parties in the traditional culture are disclosed.Chapter III: With the analysis of the theory on the national unification of the leaders of the Communist Party of China and the Kuomintang, the main contents and characteristics of the concepts on the national unification of the two parties are dealt with and the "commonalities" and "differences" of the two parties in the national unification are disclosed.Chapter IV: With the analysis of the social soil and main contents of the "cultural independence of Taiwan", the substance ad hazards of the "cultural independence of Taiwan" are disclosed, the ugly actions of Chen Shuibian's adding fuel to fire on the "cultural independence of Taiwan" are criticized and the basic thoughts of the Chinese culture restraining the "cultural independence of Taiwan" are presented.Chapter V: With the cultural analysis of the thought of "One Country, Two Systems", the traditional cultural connotations, contemporary cultural spirits and cultural inspiration of the "One Country, Two Systems" are dealt with and the cultural contribution and cultural vital force of the thought of "One Country, Two Systems" are disclosed.。Conclusion: Culture is the strong power.
