Research On Marx And Engels' Youth Ideology

The youth is the robust,positive and creative force and also the future of our nation in the development of social revolution and development.Since the globalization has made the living condition for the youth complicated,how to identify the youth and educate them has become an essential project for educators and researchers.This paper argues that Marxism is essential to help research on and solve the youth's problems.Thus the paper reveals the contemporary enlightenments of Marx and Engels's thought of youth.Based on textual study of Marx and Engels,this paper generalizes and formulates the main youth ideology of them,elaborate the basic theories and,based on the facts,makes the claim that Marx and Engels' Youth Ideology should be referenced to develop modern youth.This paper consists of eight chapters according to the logical relationship.Chapter 1 is the introduction.It summarizes the main content and basic characteristic of the paper and gives the research orientation.Chapter 2 focuses on the historical background when Marx and Engels' Youth Ideology came into existence and sums up the main features of it.Marx and Engels's thought of youth is the production of the development of the era and the society.It demands to be analyzed according to the development of the history,to be generalized and then we can research on the main ideology.Chapter 3 introduces Marx and Engels' basic understanding of the youth.In the terms of the youth's nature,traits and status,the chapter scientifically elaborates the social and historical values of the youth.From Chapter 4 to Chapter 7,the paper articulates the main content of Marx and Engels' thought of the youth,which is the basic views of Marx and Engels on the youth problem.Although they didn't make any systematic elaboration on the youth problem,we are able to prove that they have already formed youth ideology through reading uptheir original works.The discourse on the growth and developing,education and training,love and marriage,individual moral cultivation and career choices of the youth are their main thoughts.On the growth and developing of the youth,Marx and Engels elaborate the survival and development predicaments and social root from the social and historic aspects.Besides,they put forward their omn insights on the problems.On the education and training of the youth,Marx and Engels reveal the essence of bourgeois education and advocate the national education with universal significances.The central thoughts of the education and training of the youth is to trust,guide,care and be open to appoint youth.On the love and marriage of the youth,Marx and Engels reveal the essence of marriage and family in historical aspect and give the conception of ideal communist household.In addition,their own ideas on love and marriage also have essential enlightenments on the youth.On the individual moral cultivation and the career choices of the youth,Marx and Engels put forward constructive advocacy to which the youth should attach great importance during their growth and developing.Chapter 8 studies how to apply Marxist view on youth in China.The paper summarizes how our presidents of different times have inherited and developed Marx and Engels' youth ideology.It also researches on contemporary sensitive problems about the existence of Chinese youth and provides solutions for contemporary difficulties from the point of Marx and Engels' youth ideology.Ultimately,to response to Chinese dream,the paper calls on the youth to strive for realizing the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation.
