The Research For Cultivation Of Contemporary Public Spiritedness

Public spirit is a kind of psychological attitude,view of value and personality trait which is from the practice process of subjects of public benefit paying attention to common problems of human being development,caring and helping social special group.It reflects rational spirit sublimation which is from human being surpassing private interests,shows responsibility from individual to society,and is the unification of physical attribute,spiritual attribute and social attribute of human beings.With the 30 years of reform and opening up,reform of economic system is constantly enhanced,market plays an important role in resource allocation,and makes great achievements in economic field,but products many problems as well.During the implementation process of socialism distribution system,gap between rich and poor is increased by the faultiness of system,which leads to serious social contradictions.Because of nonexcludability and noncompetitive,market failure is showed in public domain.It is difficult to make up by social security on account of the faultiness of system.Original moral system in ideological and moral field is constantly collapsed.Because new moral value system hasn't yet been formed,at the same time,complete laws and regulations are still lacking,there are various disharmonious phenomena appearing in public domain during the transition period of market economy,such as serious damage of ecological environment,overuse of common resource,increase of socially disadvantaged group,evident conflict of personal interests and public interests.Therefore,public benefit,as the third distribution of social wealth,plays an important role in decreasing the gap between rich and poor,alleviating social contradictions.The cultivation of public spirit contributes to form rational value to correctly face the conflicts between public interests and private interests;form a kind of rational life attitude to properly use common resource;form a kind of selflessness spirit to care and help socially disadvantaged group,to improve education,medical service,health care and other social public works.This thesis investigates the evolution history of public benefit phenomenon,defines the exact concept of public spirit.Through collating the origin of thought of Chinese and Western scholars and Marxism classical author,necessary theoretical basis has been provided for cultivating public spirit in contemporary China.Under present historical background of China,the reasons and influences from lack of public spirit are analyzed,the effective cultivating ways are put forward.Besides introduction and conclusion,this thesis includes five chapters.Introduction sets forth five aspects.Firstly,from theoretical background and actual background,the cause of topic selection is to explain the significance and necessity of cultivation of public spirit in contemporary China.Cultivating public spirit is the inevitable requirement of all-round development of human being,realizing fairness and justice,achieving common prosperity;secondly,related research results from home and abroad are sorted and analyzed;thirdly,summarized the main content and the difficult point;fourthly,The overall design ideas and methods about the paper;The fifth part expounds the main innovation of the paper and reflection.Chapter One On the basis of full consideration on phenomena of public benefit,the source of thoughts of public benefit is reviewed.From the thoughts of public benefit of Confucianism,Buddhism,Taoism,western thoughts and the thoughts of classical authors of Marxism,the source of public spirit in contemporary China is found out.It provides not only a reference for cultivating,but also a foundation for this thesis.Chapter Two The connotation,features of public spirit and the value of public benefit in contemporary China are investigated.The connotation mainly includes altruistic spirit,friendly spirit,responsibility consciousness and practical spirit;the features of concept of mutual assistance,responsibility view of personality equality and development view of long-term governance at present are embodied.Increasing social public interests,improving social equality and justice,guiding social custom,promoting social progress and harmony are showed.Chapter Three The current situation of public spirit in China is surveyed.Positive aspects and existing problems of public spirit in contemporary China has been investigated from embodiment of public sciousness,degree of public benefit cognizance,development of public benefit groups.Lack of public spirit brought on some results to individual and social development.The reason has been analyzed.Chapter Four From the points of economy,politics and culture,the historical backgrounds of cultivating public spirit in contemporary China are studied.The main research includes: the deep transformation of market economy provides necessary dominant status,right and obligation of human being,thoughts of freedom and equality,rational value of public benefit for cultivating public spirit in contemporary China;reform of political system not only provides right direction for cultivating present public spirit,but also optimizes original and cumbrous management system,then,various participation channels are formed;under the background of multi-culture,inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese culture,advanced culture which is formed from cultural communication,cultural shock and cultural fusion build favorable atmosphere for cultivating present public benefit.The fifth chapter is according to the result of the investigation analysis in the previous chapter,on the basis of the previous chapters,find out the principle of carrier of public spirit cultivation and breeding,effective public spirit cultivation way is put forward.In the cultivation of public spirit need to set up in the concrete practice of public welfare activities,so this article according to the specific practice of contemporary China's public welfare activities to cultivating carrier of public spirit can be divided into carrier,activity carrier,cultural carrier and the carrier of mass media.In adhering to the principle of subjectivity,pertinence,gradation and integration on the basis of mutual combination,strengthen the construction of public welfare culture,emphasis on public education,improve the public management mechanism,cultivate professional public welfare,the innovation way of public welfare model,cultivate the spirit of the contemporary Chinese public welfare.Conclusion part is the summarize and reflect on main content of this paper and the future research prospects.The author believes that the further development of the socialist market economy,the status to of public spirit in contemporary China is difficult to become a spiritual motive force for the progress of society,this paper expected to review the history of social development,put forward the feasibility of the construction of contemporary China's public welfare spirit fosters measures to promote public welfare spirit from traditional to modern transformation,to promote the popularization of public welfare do some tentative research in China.
