| The party style refers to a perceivable attitude and behavior of the organizations at all levels and members of the party which is formed under the guidance of the specified world outlook,outlook on life and values,and expressed in the aspects of thought,study,work and life.The world outlook,outlook on life and values play a decisive role in the formation of the party style.A good party style can be established if the organizations at all levels and members of the party uphold the correct world outlook,outlook on life and values,otherwise malpractices will prevail.Therefore,by consistently and consciously strengthening the construction of the party style,the Communist Party of China can make the organizations at all levels and its members uphold the principle of Marx's world outlook,outlook on life and values,and form and maintain excellent work style.Only by maintaining excellent party style,the Communist Party of China continuously adheres to a firm and correct political orientation,constantly keeps closes ties between the party and the people,and achieves and maintains the unity of the party.In a word,only by constantly strengthening the party's style of work,can the party remain invincible.Since the Eighteenth National Congress,the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core not only takes to examine the construction of the party style from its nature,purpose,image,the public attitude for or against the history and times,but also focuses on the construction of the party style with firm and unconquerable courage and determination,which continuously improve the party's leading power and ruling ability;maintain its progressiveness and purity;carry forward the fine tradition and style;constantly consolidate its class foundation;and continuously expand the party's mass base.Thus the construction of the party style has not only become a name card for the Communist Party of China to reveal a distinct political stand of building the party for the public and governing the country for the people,but also become a beautiful landscape for the Communist Party of China to show the frankness and lofty spirit of selflessness.At the same time,we should also be aware that the construction on style is like the construction of Rome City,which cannot be done in a day or overnight.Although our party has made remarkable and encouraging positive progress on the construction of style,there are still serious problems.The situation is still grim;the difficulties are still numerous and the challenges are still daunting.It can be said that it is precisely because of the important,long-term,complex and arduous nature that the party style's construction has become an important issue within the party and even in the academic circles.Based on this,this thesis takes the strategic layout of“an all-out effort to enforce strict party discipline”put forward and implemented by the general secretary Xi Jinping since the18th CPC National Congress as the realistic background,focuses on the construction of the party style,and further lays a solid theoretical foundation for the construction of the party style by the research on Lenin's thought and practice in order to provide a useful reference and enlightenment for the major concerns of contemporary issues on the construction of the party style.The thesis focuses on establishing the research system of Lenin on the construction of the party style by revealing the ideological origin,ideological content,basic characteristics,practical effect and innovative development and contemporary value in China.The full thesis consists of six parts:introduction,the formation background of Lenin's thought on the construction of party style,the theory origin of Lenin's thought,the main content and basic characteristics of Lenin's thought on the construction of the party style,Lenin's practical exploration on the construction of the party style,and innovative development and contemporary value in China of Lenin's thought and practice on the construction of the party style.The introduction part systematically explains the purpose and significance of the study,research status and research review,the definition of core concepts,research ideas and methods,and possible innovations,which serve as the premise and foundation of the research.The first chapter analyzes the formation background of Lenin's thought on the construction of the party style from four aspects:the international background,the domestic background,the party background and the personal background.From the perspective of the international background,on one hand,when capitalism was transitioning from the free competition to monopoly stage,also the stage of imperialism,the capitalist countries showed the new characteristics in the economic and political aspects,yet the oppression inside and the foreign war of imperialism created the direct situation of the proletarian revolution.On the other hand,at the later period of the Second International,Bernstein's revisionism led to the popularity of opportunism and reformism inside the European proletarian parties,who had turned into the“parliamentary party”,“peace party”and“reform party”,and even supported the government to wage foreign wars.They in fact became social chauvinist parties and even the accomplice of the empire war,who directly accelerated and resulted in the political division of the left and right forces and the splitting inside the parties.If the“fighting party”,“revolutionary party”and“new party”could not be established,then the new situation could not be adapted,the integration of left-wing forces could not be achieved,and the revolutionary struggle of the proletariat could not be realized.From the perspective of home,before the October Revolution,Russia embarked on the road of capitalism after the serfdom reform,but the incomplete reform had led Russia into a military feudal imperialist country.The extreme poverty and backwardness in economy and culture,and the intensified oppression and foreign war had not only made Russia become the focus of various contradictions at that time,but also become the weakest part on the chain of the imperialists,which provided the realistic possibility for the proletariat to seize the power.After the October Revolution,at the beginning of the founding,the Soviet regime led by the Russian Communist Party?Bolsheviks?was suffering the armed intervention of the foreign imperialist countries and the armed rebellion of domestic Baiwei in addition to a dilemma—a thousand things waited to be done and much remains to be done.This grim situation needed more strong leadership of the party.From the background of the party,on the one hand,the long-time dispersion state and the negative impact of revisionism of the Second International led to the serious group habits and sectarian style inside the party,which directly endangered the unity of the party itself,and made the party in the danger of division.On the other hand,after coming into power,because of the corruption of power and the invasion of the adverse impact of the old forces,the party began to appear the phenomena such as arrogance,bureaucracy,corruption and degeneration,which resulted in the severe test of anti-corruption in the party itself.From Lenin's personal background,good family background led to the formation of Lenin's willpower of taking the responsibilities in the meanwhile firm belief and ideals gave Lenin an unbending spirit.It was Lenin's willpower of taking the responsibilities and the unbending spirit that made him courageously take to the construction of the party style without hesitation,and lead the Russian to achieve the victory of the revolution and the great achievements of the construction.It can be said that this chapter is mainly to answer the practical origin about the formation of Lenin's thought on the that,first,without revolutionary theory there can be no strong proletarian party;second,the application of Marx's principle should be based on the specific characteristics of the country;third,being understand and respect the historical status of the masses of the people;and maintain close ties with the masses;then resolutely oppose bureaucracy.At last,Lenin put forward the thought that the unity of the party is the necessary condition for the victory of the proletariat.Based on this idea,first,the party's unity is the basic prerequisite for realizing the unity of the proletariat;and the party unity must be established on the principle of the Marx doctrine;then the party should not only have the unity on thinking,but also on the organization.In terms of the basic characteristics,the combination of the three elements:the Marx doctrine,the Russian realistic situation and features of the times,helped to form the six basic features of Lenin's thought on the construction of the party style,namely,prominent political nature,distinct class nature,extensive mass participation,vivid practicality,strict organization,firm revolutionary.Generally,this chapter is mainly to solve the issue of“what is the problem?”.The fourth chapter is concerned with Lenin's practical exploration on the construction of the party style,including the practical explorations on the path of linking theory with practice inside the party;of strengthening the close relationship between the party and the people;of maintaining the party's unity;problems occurred in the exploration and reasons.As for the practical exploration on the path of linking theory with practice inside the party is concerned,the first is to actively carry out the struggles on the two kinds of wrong tendencies:the"left"and the right;the second is to enhance the party's cultural quality and theoretical level;and the third is to promote the scientific methods of working.In terms of the path of strengthening the close relationship between the party and the people,the first is to formulate policies that are in line with the interests of the people;the second is to firmly oppose all forms of bureaucracy;the third is to firmly oppose the specialization of the leading cadres of the party;and then to strengthen the communication work with the masses of the people.In terms of the path of maintaining the party's unity,the party should first establish the organizational principle of democratic centralism;second,rectify the party's organization;third,take party discipline seriously;and then strengthen the supervision within the party.In terms of the practical exploration,the thesis,on one hand,sums up the problems occurred in Lenin's practice on the construction of the party style;on the other hand,analyzes the reasons in the practice.In conclusion,this chapter is to solve the problem of“what to do”.The fifth chapter reveals the innovative development and contemporary value of Lenin's thought and practice on party style construction in China.First of all,the thesis studies the persistence and practical development of Lenin's thought on party style construction by successive central leaderships of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and then presents the innovative development in China.Lenin's thought and practice on party style produced an important influence on the Communist Party of China,so that different generations of the central collective leadership of the CCP all firmly adhere to Lenin's thought and actively practice and expand.The specific representations are as the followings:the first is that Mao Zedong not only refined the party's“three style”,but also regarded it as the significant sign that our party is different from other political parties;the second is that Deng Xiaoping took the party style of the ruling party as the most important problem that is related to the life-and-death survival;the third is that Jiang Zeming attributes the core of the construction of the party style to maintain close ties with the masses of the people;the fourth is that Hu Jintao thinks of maintaining and carrying forward the party's fine style as an important guarantee for the party which is always in an invincible position;the fifth is that Xi Jinping,in face of the severe situation of building a honest administration and the anti-corruption struggle,makes an important judgment that the building of the party style is always on the road.Secondly,the thesis is to conclude the realistic enlightenment of Lenin's thought and practice on party style construction to China,which reveals its great contemporary value.On the one hand,the thesis analyzes the serious and complicated situation faced by the CCP on party style construction.The Communist Party is undergoing a series of tests:tests of ruling,the reform and opening,market economy and the external environment,while taking the risks of slacking in spirit,lacking capacity,isolating from the masses and passive corruption,which makes“comprehensive strictly ruling the party”necessary.On the other hand,the thesis refines the seven aspects in terms of the realistic enlightenment of Lenin's thought and practice on party style construction to today's China.The first is to develop democracy within party;the second is to strictly enforce party discipline;the third is to establish the long-term mechanism of building a clean government;the fourth is to continuously improve the quality of party members,and to purify the party organization;the fifth is to continue to meet the interests of the masses;the sixth is to strengthen ideological and political work;the seventh is to reform the selection and assessment system of the leading cadres.In general,this chapter is devoted to solve the problem of“how to do”.In short,the importance,long-term characteristic,complexity and difficulty on the construction of the party style determine that the party,on one hand,should profoundly study the thoughts of Marx's classical writers,on the other hand,carry out creative practice based on the guidance.So the thesis is trying to provide a useful reference to
