Carbon game generated by the imbalanced development of countries all over the world has become the knot of carbon reduction, Carbon emissions differences are the focus content of solve carbon emissions problem. It can evaluate the results of the regional carbon reduction and the future of the emission reduction potential and provide theoretical basis for reducing carbon emissions regional differences and promoting low carbon economy by analyzing differences of carbon emissions. There are volume varies of regional in China as it is the largest national carbon emissions in the world. It has become an important task to promote regional harmonious development of low carbon economy by exploring different paths based on the different impact of carbon emission factors action mechanisms in different regions. Therefore, there are significant theoretical value and practical meaning of abstracting the regional differences of carbon emissions in China, analyzing the difference of regional carbon emissions differences, studying the convergence of carbon emissions and influencing factors, and seeking a targeted reduction path for our country to reduce carbon emissions and realize low carbon economic transformation.Regional carbon emissions differences and carbon emissions reduction approaches are discussed in this paper, the main research works are conducted as follows:(1) Carbon emissions are estimated in different regions of China, Theil index research method is used to measure the contribution of carbon emissions differences in different regions, and compare analyzed the trend of per capita carbon emissions differences and carbon intensity differences among different regions. Firstly, carbon emissions of thirty provinces and three regions in China are estimated between year 2000 and 2012; Secondly, carbon emissions differences in China are estimated and the contribution of different region are analyzed by Theil index methodology based on the weight of population and economic growth; Finally, the carbon emissions differences which are the per capita carbon emissions and carbon emissions intensity are compare analyzed the difference of regional carbon emission under different weight.(2) The convergence role of different factors effect on carbon emissions are analyzed by establish carbon emissions ? convergence and absolute ? convergence and conditional ? convergence model for the convergence of regional carbon emissions. The convergence hypothesis of neoclassical economic growth theory are introduced to analyze differences in carbon emissions, the convergence condition of China's regional differences in carbon emissions are empirical researched, analysis, a convergence, absolute ? convergence and ? convergence conditions of carbon emission levels in eastern and central and western regions in China were investigated from the population, economic growth, technological progress, the rate of urbanization, industrial structure, energy prices and international trade of seven factors on carbon emissions in nationwide and three regional convergence condition ? action effects. The results show that the presence carbon emissions characteristics of whole divergence and local convergence in Chinese, different regions have absolute ? convergence and conditions ? convergence trends, and the difference driving factors of carbon emissions condition ? convergence in different areas are further explored.(3) Carbon gray correlation degree models are created for validation of different factors on the role of carbon emissions in different regions to test the difference formation factors role of regional differences for carbon emissions in China. Population, economic growth, technological progress, the rate of urbanization, industrial structure, energy prices and factors affecting international trade seven different regions carbon emissions grey absolute degree and gray relative correlation degree and gray comprehensive correlation degree are tested by establishing carbon emissions absolute gray correlation degree, correlation gray relative correlation degree model and gray comprehensive correlation degree model. The result of gray correlation degree of estimate different development stages and different influencing factors can judge the different influencing factors action mechanism of carbon emission influencing factors are different, and the same stage of development of different regions of the carbon emissions influencing factors action mechanism are similar.(4) Spatial dependence, clustering and space-time transition path are tested for the space autocorrelation of carbon emissions, and panel space data spatial econometrics model are established to empirical analyzed carbon emissions influencing factors. Chinese regional carbon emissions are significantly and positively correlated to verify Chinese regional carbon emissions have significant spatial dependence and spatial path dependence of regional carbon emissions are analyzed by global spatial autocorrelation test, spatial clustering are analyzed through by local spatial autocorrelation analysis of temporal transition path test. Further research through the establishment of the randomness of the environmental impact assessment model can be extended, the seven domain factors from the population, economic growth, technological progress, the rate of urbanization, industrial structure, energy prices and international trade different factors on regional carbon emissions are empirical analyzed to verify the space of carbon emissions and their influencing factors have overflow, economic growth based on the general panel data model, spatial lag panel data model, spatial Durbin panel data model, the rate of urbanization, industrial structure and international trade are the major factors of carbon emissions, technological progress should be further strengthened to reduce carbon emissions, the role of different factors on the effect of carbon emissions in eastern, central and western regions are different, we should pay attention to carbon emission space linkage mechanism, taking the difference reduction strategy.(5) Reduction path of different regions are proposed for carbon emission factors have different effects based on carbon emissions spatial linkage mechanism. The targeted reduction pathways of different regions are proposed from the population, economic growth, technological progress, the rate of urbanization, industrial structure, energy prices and international trade of seven different horizons respectively depending on the role of carbon emission influencing factors in different areas refer to the previous chapters of research findings. The research of regional carbon emissions differential analysis and reduction approaches in China can further improve the relevant theory of low carbon economic development, providing reference and guidance for the realization of China's regional carbon reduction theory and method. The conclusions of this paper can not only assistant the national government departments to develop appropriate mitigation policies in the context of low carbon economy, but also can provide some insight for different regions and departments to achieve the carbon emission reduction targets in line with China's economic development plans and long term interest. It is significance for promoting regional economic low carbon development and achieving whole economy low carbon transformation in China.
