A Study On Influence Of Urban Construction Satisfaction On Residents' Well-being

As a kind of social satisfaction and public satisfaction,urban construction satisfaction has not drawn enough attention of researcher.The people-oriented scientific outlook on development puts forward new requirements for city managers,city planning,design,construction,management and the other aspects should meet the needs of urban residents better,and in the field of urban construction the urban construction satisfaction should be improved.On the other hand,as a hot issue of sociology research,discussing influencing factors of residents' happiness can provide a scientific basis for policy making for decision makers.So the study on urban construction satisfaction and the influence on the residents' subjective well-being has important theoretical and practical significance.This article uses the literature review,theoretical research,investigation,statistical analysis methods and the following aspects are discussed.Firstly,the related research of satisfaction and happiness is collected and analyzed,specifically the connotation,theoretical basis and measuring method of satisfaction,and the meaning,influencing factors,measuring method and theory of happiness are discussed,and the shortcoming of existing research at home and abroad and the developing direction of the theory are pointed out;Secondly,the connotation of urban construction satisfaction is discussed,the impact of external objective factors and personal characteristics factors on urban construction satisfaction is analyzed,on the basis of using the method of empirical studies,the measurement scale of urban construction satisfaction is developed,and the structural dimension of urban construction satisfaction is analyzed.The results show that the urban construction satisfaction can be divided into three dimensions: housing conditions satisfaction,community infrastructure satisfaction and urban infrastructuresatisfaction;Thirdly,by issuing a questionnaire to collect data on urban construction satisfaction,the paper analyzes the status of urban construction satisfaction,discusses the different impact of housing conditions,community infrastructure and urban infrastructure on urban construction satisfaction and the influence of gender,income,age,education background and other personal characteristics factors on level of urban construction satisfaction and importance of external objective factors.The empirical study results show that community infrastructure satisfactionis the most influential variable on total satisfaction,subsequently are satisfaction with urban infrastructure and housing conditions,the difference of income,age,education background will lead to the difference of influence degree of external objective factors onurban construction satisfaction;Fourthly,we build the conceptual model of the influence of urban construction satisfaction on subjective well-being,and analyze the validity of the model and the impact of urban construction satisfaction on subjective well-being by using the method of empirical study,and at the same time,the relationship between gender,age,education,income and the residents' subjective well-being is discussed.The results show that housing conditions satisfaction is the most influential variable on subjective well-being,subsequently are community infrastructure satisfaction and urban infrastructure satisfaction,gender,income,and age as the moderator variables have some moderating effect between urban construction satisfaction and subjective well-being,however the moderating effect of education background is not significant,in addition,personal income has a significant influence on subjective well-being of residents,and the influence of other personal characteristics factors is not significant;Fifthly,according to the results of theoretical research and empirical research,the paper puts forward the concrete management countermeasure and suggestion from several aspects of improving the level the construction of community infrastructure,increasing investment inurban infrastructure,increasing the supply of affordable housing,and improving the level of residential planning,construction and management,and provides reference for policy makers and city builders;Finally,the shortcomings of the study and further research direction are analyzed.
