| Since the 1980s,the developed countries have gradually stepped into the post-industrial society,the shift from a industrial economy to a service economy is becoming a main trend in these developed countries.Economic transformation is predominantly reflected on two aspects:on the one hand,producer services which mainly meet the intermediate demand have rapidly risen in the service sector,the strategic support and driving effects of producer services to the transformation of manufacturing industry and other industry development are more and more prominent;On the other hand,the trend of manufacturing services and intelligence is enhancing,the value proportion created by producer services is continuously increasing in manufacturing products,service-oriented tendency of economy has been more significant too.However,the financial crisis of 2008 emits a warning:to those countries who put too much emphasize on the development in service econamy or "de-industrialisation"--That is to say,economic systems that put too much emphasize on a rapid development of service economy and neglect the support of entity economy which consists mainly of manufacturing,are more unstable and vulnerable.In this context,developed countries have launched some new development strategy,such as re-industrialization,manufacturing return or reviving manufacturing,etc.In the course of the evolution of China's industrial structure,the development of producer services started late,its overall developmental level was not high,especially the advanced producer service sectors which rely more on knowledge,information and human capital are suffering a serious deficiency,and its service quality and efficiency are also low,which seriously restrict the strategic supports and driving impacts of producer services on the development of manufacturing industry and other departments.At the same time,affected by traditional concept of development,the development pattern of the manufacturing sector reflects a strong feature of path dependence,the insufficiency of manufacturing demand structure and demand level hinder the development of producer service sectors which mainly meet the intermediate demand.In view of the difficulties in China's industry development,this thesis argues the important way of promoting China's industrial structure optimization/upgrading and improving the quality of economic development is to promote the convergence of producer service and manufacture on the basis of deepening reform,to let the producer service sectors especially advanced producer service sectors become the "engine and propeller" in driving manufacture transformation;meanwhile,we should guide and promote the shift of the developing ideas and ways of manufacturing sectors,the manufacturing sectors should permit those sectors or processes of which lack of the comparative advantage from the"internalization" to the "externalizing",which will contribute to opening up a broader market space,and this is advantageous to realize the large-scale,specialization and industrialization of the producer service industry.With the help of normative analysis,empirical analysis and comparative analysis,combining with the characteristics facts and empirical data of China's producer services and manufacture development,this thesis analyzes deeply the endogenous impetus of producer services development,the factors of demand and supply sides influencing on the China's producer service development,and the internal mechanism and implementation path of integration between the producer services and manufacturing industiy.On the basis of theoretical and empirical analysis,the thesis is to research the inner reason why China's producer service development level and quality is not high,and the cause of low-level interaction and integration between producer services and manufacturing industry,and to put forward the corresponding policy suggestions.At last,by the way of combing and summarizing the international experience of industrial development in developed countries and of transformation development in typical enterprise,these beneficial references will help to enhance the level of China's industrial interaction and integration development.In this paper,the conclusions of theoretical and empirical research can be summarized as the following aspects:(l)From the view of theoretical analysis,the development of producer services which is the important intermediate input of manufacturing industry is the major reason for the improvement of manufacturing product quality and productive efficiency.The producer service industry especially the knowledge-intensive producer services can integrate more knowledge,information and human capital into the whole process of manufacturing products,which is in favor of cutting the cost of enterprise's built-in,and increasing the enterprise's production efficiency and th.e transactional efficiency.Moreover,if we can make the division of labor of producer services more refined,more special field,as well as the higher the service quality and service efficiency,it will lead to an improvement in the diversity and heterogeneity of manufacturing enterprise output,enhance the ability of differential pricing and profitability of manufacturing enterprise,so as to promote manufacturing industry upgrading.However,through the empirical analysis on China's producer services,we can find out that the role of producer services is not obvious in promoting manufacturing development level and efficiency,which is not enough to play the "heart and wings" function on driving manufacturing transformation and upgrading,this situation is due to various factors,such as the size of the market,professional level and the development level.(2)Based on the characteristic fact analysis of China's producer services development,we find that the insistent cognitive bias of "paying attention to production and looking down on service" results in the development lag of service industry.While the existence and continuation of the structure of planned economy restrains seriously the intermediate demand of manufacturing enterprises and other departments on producer services,which leads to a lower development level of producer services.In addition,although the manufacturing industry has developed rapidly,for a long time the extensive models of manufacture development have led to the overcapacity and poorer original innovation ability,a huge consumption of resource&energy,and a serious damage of ecological environment,etc.,these problems are forcing a transformation of China's manufacturing industry.To change the development dilemma of producer services and manufacturing industry,a practical path is to remove some development obstacles going against the industrial linkage development,and to set up the necessary"platform" as so as to promote the interaction and integration of producer service and manufacturing industry.(3)Theoretical analysis shows that the interaction and integration between manufacturing and producer services is an important trend of industrial development,and international experiences also indicates that the degree of interaction and integration between manufacturing and producer services is deepening and expanding in developed countries.However,through analyzing China's input-output table since 1997,we can find the degree of industrial interaction and integration has not increased significantly.By the way of calculating correlation indexes we can indicate the degree of industrial interaction and integration,and the interaction between producer services and manufacture is not obvious and the disequilibrium integration degree is still high.Though the degree of dependency of producer services to manufacturing is high,it didn't work the same way vice versa,the trend of integration development is still not obvious.In consideration of the financial crisis since 2008 and China's economic characteristics,we should constantly improve the developmental level of producer services,and gradually optimize the structure of the producer services,in order to in.ject more elements such as knowledge,information and innovation into the transformation of manufacturing industry,to promote the upgrade of manufacturing product structure and quality,and creating more demand in adapt to the change of market demand structure;On the other hand we should encourage manufacturing industry to change the development mode,which will contribute to the development of a broader market space for the producer services.Under the circumstances of an optimizing process of market order and the environment of industrial development,a reasonable incentive mechanism will contribute to a market subject profit-push,which will help to promote and realize the interaction and integration between manufacturing and producer services,and to boost a healthy and stable development of national economy,which is just the important value and realistic meaning of this paper's research. |
