This dissertation studies the spatial effects of regional technological innovation drives the industrial structure optimization and upgrading under knowledge spillovers.This dissertation is the preliminary result of the supervisor's project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, which is based on the research on the coupling mechanism of regional technological innovation drives industrial structure optimization and upgrading under knowledge spillovers, the item number is 71473109.Regional technological innovation is the key driver to promote the industrial structure optimization and upgrading and even social economic development. Under the background of economic globalization, most countries are committed to promoting the industrial structure optimization and upgrading by improving the technological innovation capacity, so as to achieve the sustained and sound development goals of the national economy. Science and technology is always the first productive force, and the promotion of science and technology to the industrial structure optimization and upgrading is increasingly critical in the increasingly fierce international competition.Then, in the actual technical innovation research, we should combine the technical innovation with the market, and integrate the technology into the products in the form of innovation chains to meet the needs of the market and realize the true meanings of technological innovation. This dissertation holds that technological innovation has three categories of technology embedded innovation, technology integration innovation and technology cluster innovation. Technological innovation plays a different role in different stages. The ultimate goal is to promote the industrial structure optimization and upgrading and promote our country's economic development. Industrial structure optimization and upgrading refers to the three stages of industrial structure coordination,industrial structure heightening and industrial structure efficiency. That is to say, we should make the industrial sectors to cooperate with each other, maintain the balance between supply and demand structures, optimize the structural effects and enhance industrial competition efficiency under the specific economic and social development goals, in order to realize the development process of transforming the industrial structure from low to high.The enterprise acts as a key participant in the development trend of the national economy. The technical innovation of the regional enterprise is the important factor to promote the industrial structure optimization and upgrading. Regional technological innovation promotes industrial structure optimization and upgrading mainly through the following three paths. Firstly, the technology embedded innovation embeds the innovation chains in the various parts of the industry chain in the forms of horizontal knowledge spillovers to promote the rational allocation of resources endowments and the proportion of industries gradually reasonable to achieve the coordination of industrial structure. Secondly, under the form of vertical knowledge spillovers, the technology integration innovation is the integration of the innovation chains and industry chain, which leads to the transformation of traditional industry and the sprout of high technology industry, and realizes the industrial structure heightening. Thirdly,innovation chains and industrial chains reflect to achieve cluster innovation through interaction, catalytic industry agglomeration and promote collaborative competition,finally achieve the realization of industrial structure efficiency. Thus, technological innovation promotes the industrial structure optimization and upgrading through characterizing industry, changing the structure of talents, improving the quality of the system and influencing foreign trade under the interaction of innovation chains and industry chain. Only by profoundly understanding the interaction between regional technological innovation and industrial structure optimization and upgrading can we analyze the path of regional technological innovation drives the industrial structure optimization and upgrading in detail, so as to optimize the industrial structure and make it more and more similar to our country's economy development trajectory.This dissertation is based on the theory of spatial correlation and convergence and divergence theory of technological innovation drives the industrial structure optimization and upgrading under knowledge spillovers. We analyze the spatial effects of regional technological innovation drives industrial structure optimization and upgrading. Among them, the knowledge spillovers are divided into three types of horizontal knowledge spillovers, vertical knowledge spillovers and linked knowledge spillovers. Technological innovation is divided into three categories of technology embedded innovation, technology integration innovation and technology cluster innovation. At the same time,industrial structure optimization and upgrading is divided into three stages of industrial structure coordination, industrial structure heightening and industrial structure efficiency. Finally, the dissertation puts forward some policy suggestions to promote the spatial effects of regional technological innovation drive industrial structure optimization and upgrading in our country. Then come to the following concrete conclusions.Firstly, the regional technological innovation drives industrial structure optimization and upgrading through the innovation chains embedded in the industrial chains, the integration of innovation chains and industrial chains and the fusion of innovation chains and industrial chains. The whole process of recursion eventually forms a complex network structure, which realizes the rational division of technological innovation and technical knowledge under the network innovation chains and the industrial chains, and promotes the knowledge sharing of the entire industry innovation network, then finally makes the industrial structure efficiency effectively achieved. In addition, regional technological innovation drives industrial structure optimization and upgrading in backward regions and rich regions have the spatial convergence and divergence characteristics.Secondly, the technology embedded innovation and industrial structure coordination form the effects of space-time cycle in time and space dimension. External drivers such as human resources, technological innovation strategies and financial resources, other external factors such as government support, technological progress and market competition are the driving forces and pull forces of technology embedded innovation drives industrial structure coordination symbiotic evolution system. The push-pull mechanism is the formation of cyclic alternating circuits. The heterogeneity of the industrial structure coordination at the spatial levels and the spatial correlation between the global and local levels are the main reasons for the existence of the spatial effects of technology embedded innovation drives industrial structure coordination.Thirdly,enterprises are the breakthroughs of promoting the relationship of regional technology integration innovation and industrial structure heightening to be more closely. Labor resources, FDI, fusion technological innovation income and industrial structure optimization are linkages of two independent systems. Technological progress,institutional innovation and the effectiveness of urban humanistic recovery contribute to the optimization of the coupled diffusion system of technology integration innovation drives industrial structure heightening. The effects of technology spillovers on industrial structure heightening are positive but not significant,imitation innovation has significant negative effects on industrial structure heightening. Only by digesting,absorbing, upgrading the imported technology and enhancing the ability of independent innovation can we finally promote the industrial structure heightening.Fourthly, the cycle processes of industry specialization and diversification agglomeration, technology cluster innovation and knowledge linked spillovers can help to enhance the efficiency of regional industrial and promote industrial structure efficiency. Technology cluster innovation can help to enhance the cooperation complementary effects between enterprises to achieve industrial structure efficiency.Geographical factors and technical factors are important factors of regional technology cluster innovation drives industrial structure efficiency. The effects of the variable in the eastern region on the industrial structure efficiency are the greatest. The "return effects"of technology cluster innovation drives the industrial structure efficiency will reduce the spillovers effects of the region's industrial structure efficiency and inhibit the industrial structure efficiency of other regions.Fifthly, accelerate the planning and construction of technological innovation base,build the technological innovation transformation network and improve the regional technological innovation environment can help the construction of a new regional technological innovation environment. Change the location gradient of the overall investment strategies,rational planning to optimize the structure of the three industries and improve the government functions will help optimize the regional industrial structure. It is helpful to optimizing the mode selections of the spatial effects of technological innovation drives industrial structure optimization and upgrading by strengthening the investment of technological innovation resources elements,rationalizing the allocation of scientific research resources and cultivating innovative mechanisms.
