Research On Upgrading Dynamic、 Mechanism And Path Of The Interfirm Network

With the intensification of global competition and the deepening of global production network,interfirm network has become the main organizational form for all countries worldwide to participate in the economic competition,and it plays an important role in the economic development.The development of interfirm network in China has greatly promoted the development of regional economy in recent years.As a new type of organization,it has become one of the important economic organizations to promote the economic development of our country.But even so,most of the interfirm networks in our country still linger at the low end of global value chain.The problems e.g the backward production technology、the limited innovation ability、the low brand value and so on,have seriously restricted the further development of the interfirm network in our country.In the process of development of global production network,Chinese interfirm network can only be reduced to the "manufacturing factory" of the developed countries step by step,and can not extricate itself from the "escalation paradox".In recent years,under the influence of a series of factors,such as the rising price of production factors and the transfer of world economic industry the interfirm network of our country is facing a very serious pressure of transformation and development.Therefore,the research on how the interfirm network of our country to deal with the crisis and realize the upgrading smoothly has become a theoretical and practical problem needs to solve urgently.On the basis of analyzing and combing the relevant documents,this paper analyzes the development trend of current domestic and foreign scholars’ researches on the interfirm network and interfirm network upgrading theory by using the bibliometric method.According to this,it divides the research on interfirm network upgrading theory into three parts: research on the dynamic of upgrading,research on the promotion mechanism and research on the upgrading path.First of all,according to the reviews of relevant documents,take the external environment,network governance,network effect,cooperation strategy,cooperation cost and cooperation performance as the driving factors of impacting the interfirm network upgrading.And further with the assistance of questionnaire survey,carry out the QCA to 277 questionnaires collected on the middle-small enterprises network and 307 questionnaires collected on the group network respectively through QCA research methods,and identify the core driving factors of impacting the network upgrading respectively.Secondly,according to the relevant theories of social network,the basic unit of network analysis is structure,the interfirm network upgrading has an irreversibility of high degree.Along with the time passed,the structure within network is from coupling to stability,and moving to the breakage this balance,and then to the next round of coupling,stability.Such continuous changes and continuous development have gradually promoted the upgrading and development of interfirm networks.It can be seen that the structure play an important role that can not be ignored in the process of interfirm network upgrading,which further combines with the dynamic factors of upgrading,constitutes the mechanism model of interfirm network upgrading,and analyzes the relevant sample data by utilizing SPSS、AMOS and MPLUS.It verifies the authenticity of theoretical assumptions from the empirical point of view to further clarify the mechanism of interfirm network upgrading.Finally,the interfirm network upgrading path selection is the external performance of upgrading mechanism,and the correct path selection is the foundation to ensure the upgrading realization.The selection of interfirm network upgrading path is the result of the game selection of various acting subjects in the process of network evolution as time passed.It combines with the evolutionary game theory to determine the game matrix of network acting subjects in the course of network upgrading.Conduct the simulation by utilizing the simulation software Matlab so as to carry out the scientific analysis of interfirm network upgrading path selection.Basing on the above theoretical analysis,empirical analysis and simulation analysis,this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)Interfirm network upgrading is the result of the joint action of several factors.With the development of organizational system,there are some relatively important variables,which will have a great impact on the structure and behavior of system.The upgrading of any type of interfirm network is the result of being driven by a series of factors.(2)Node enterprises play a key role in the interfirm network upgrading.The interfirm network upgrading is the result of influence and promotion of network acting subjects after all.Each network node has an active role in the process of network upgrading,they actively promote the realization of upgrading by means of the adjustment of network behaviors and further with the help of related mechanism with other elements.Further they can select the appropriate upgrading path through the accurate evaluation to the subjective and objective conditions in the network in the course of selecting upgrading path.It can be seen that the success of upgrading relies on the subjective selection of network node enterprises.(3)Upgrading dynamic-Network structure-Value enhancement is the key to realize the interfirm network upgrading.This paper establishes an interfirm network upgrading mechanism model which takes the network structure as mediating variable,and this model has been verified via tests.It indicates that the dynamic factors of upgrading have an impact on the interfirm network upgrading through the network structure,and the optimization of network structure has a direct impact on the network upgrading.(4)The interfirm network upgrading path is the result of long-term game equilibrium between network acting subjects in the process of cooperation.Upgrading path selection is the reality of network optimization.Regardless the type of upgrading path,they are all the selection made by network acting subjects based on the current situation of internal and external operation of the organization,it has a continuous dynamic property.The innovations of this paper are as follows: First of all,use the qualitative comparative analysis method to find out different factors that affect the interfirm network upgrading,on this basis,find the core factors that promote the enterprise upgrading,break the traditional quantitative single analysis model,and make the dynamic factor analysis of interfirm network upgrading have more realistic explanatory power.Secondly,most of the analysis on interfirm network upgrading mechanism in existing research is basing on static theory analysis and overall case analysis.This paper utilizes the quantitative analysis to verify the theoretical model of interfirm network upgrading mechanism on the basis of scientific qualitative comparison and analysis,which makes up for the lack of micro-analysis in network upgrading to some extent,and enriches the interfirm network upgrading theories.Finally,in the research on interfirm network upgrading path selection,it breaks through the analysis methods that mostly focus on the case study.This paper utilizes the scientific simulation method to find out the general path selection of interfirm network upgrading based on the evolutionary game theory,which provides the operable suggestions for the development of interfirm network in China.This paper mainly discusses the problem of interfirm network upgrading,summarizes the dynamic、mechanism and path selection of interfirm network upgrading.Its purpose is to provide a complete theoretical and empirical basis and practical measures for the construction of Chinese interfirm network upgrading theory and the development of Chinese interfirm network.On one hand,it makes a useful supplement to the existing research of the interfirm network upgrading theory,and makes positive contribution to the improvement of the network upgrading theory;On the other hand,combining with the reality of the development of Chinese interfirm network,the paper puts forward the targeted and operable suggestions for promoting the value of Chinese interfirm network.
