Systematics Of Corinniae From China (Arachnida: Araneae)

Corinniae includs three families: Corinnidae,Trachelidae and Phrurolithidae.They are members of Dionycha,belong to Order Araneae of Class Arachnida,currently,they has been reported 1101 species in 96 genera of these three families all over the world.The present dissertation deals with a comprehensive systematics research of Chinese Corinniae,briefly studies the research history,taxonomic system,distribution patterns and biology,also detailed describes the diagnostic characteristics and morphological characteristics.Based on the molecular data,the phylogenetic study of three families of Chinese Corinniae and two genera of Phrurolithidae--Phrurolithus and Otacilia,is discussed.Based on the molecular data of COI and 28 S rRNA,the phylogeny of Chinese Corinniae is studied,with 29 representative species in 16 genera of three families as ingroup,and the genus Prodidomus of family Prodidomidae as outgroup.The result shows that: 1)the monophyly of Chinese Corinnidae,Trachelidae and Phrurolithidae is supported,and a new subfamily of Corinnidae is established--Medmassinae subfam.n.;2)the taxonomic statuses of Paranyssus gen.n.and Spinipalpus gen.n.are determined,they are respectively belong to Castianeirinae and Medmassinae,respectively;3)the transfer of Othobula from Phrurolithidae to Trachelidae is supported,as Wheeler et al.(2017);4)the taxonomic statuses of some species are transferred.Based on the molecular data of COI and 28 S rRNA,the phylogeny of Chinese Otacilia and Phrurolithus is studied,with 34 representative species in two genera as ingroup and the genus Orthobula as outgroup.The result shows that: 1)the monophyly of Chinese Otacilia is supported,and divided Chinese Otacilia from its original four species groups(Jin et al.,2016)in to nine species groups;2)six Phrurolithus species are transferd to Otacilia.In the taxonomic part,148 species of 23 genera,belonging to three families from China,are described in this dissertation,including six new genera,five newly recorded genera,51 new species,four newly recorded species,22 new combinations,one new synonym,three male and one female supplement(three doubtful species are not included).Compared to before this study,there are 97 species of 11 genera in China,a total of 12 genera and 51 species have been added: 1)the Chinese corinnids from 12 species of three genera added to currently 32 species of 11 genera,including four new genera,19 new species,four new combinations,three newly recorded genera and two newly recorded species;2)the Chinese trachelids from 21 species of five genera added to currently 35 species of seven genera,including two new genera,14 new species,two new combinations,one male and one female supplement,two newly recorded species(three doubtful species are not included);3)the Chinese phrurolithids from 64 species of three genera added to currently 81 species of five genera,including 18 new species,16 new combinations,one new synonym,two newly recorded genera,one newly recorded species and two male supplement.New taxa of this dissertation is shown in the Appendix,and all specimens are deposited in the Museum of Hebei University(MHBU),Baoding City,China if not otherwise specified.
