Taxonomy And Phylogeny Of The Fungi Of The Genus Diatrype And Its Related Genera Study Of China

Diatrype is the type genus of the family Diatrypeaceae,and it is also the largest group among them.This genus was established by Nitschke(1869)based on the shape of the stromata.The members of this genus usually grow on the dead branches of deciduous trees and are distributed in areas of different ecological types in China.In this study,the classification and phylogenetic studies of fungi of the genus Diatrype and its related genera were carried out.A combination of traditional morphology and molecular phylogentic analysed was uesd to to analyze the genetic relationship.Collected more than 100 specimens,from which the Diatrypaceae were selected for research.The specimens were collected from different ecological types of forest areas in Xinjiang,Yunnan,Sichuan,Tibet,Hainan from 2019 to 2020.In addition,the studied specimens also were included from the original collection of the research group and from other herbariums.Borrowed specimens,such as the Mycological Herbarium of the Institute of Microbiology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences(HMAS),the Herbarium of Cryptogamae of Kunming Institute of Botany,Chinese Academy of Sciences(HKAS),and the Mycosporaceae Fungi preserved in the Herbarium of Jilin Agricultural University(HMJAU)specimen.Combining the sequences of ITS,SSU,LSU,TUB2,RPB2 and using software such as Rax ML and Mr Bayes,a phylogenetic tree of Diatrype and related gernera was established and analyzed.Finally,based on the results of the combination of morphology and phylogentic analysis,a total of 26 species in 5 genera were discussed and described,10 of them were newly recorded species in China.Including 1 new Chinese record genus and 10 new species Allodiatrype trigemina,Diatrype sp.1,Diatrypella sp.1,Diatrypella sp.2,Diatrypella sp.3,Diatrypella sp.4,Eutypella sp.1,Eutypella sp.2,Eutypella sp.3,Eutypella sp.4.and 4 common species.In this study,a total of 26 species of fungi of the genus Diatrype and its related genera were described in detail,including microscopic characteristics,and photographed and recorded.The differences between the related genera were discussed,and keys to species are also provided.In this paper,the morphological characteristics of Diatrype and its related genera were summarized,and the appropriate molecular helper fragments were selected preliminarily,which enriched the fungal resources of Diatrype in China,improved the understanding of the biodiversity of Diatrype in China,and provided scientific basis and technical support for the further understanding and utilization of such resources.
