In recent years,with the full opening of the national second-child policy and the advent of the two-child era,social family structure and lifestyle have changed a lot.Furniture is the most intimate partner of people's life,and its design form and concept will also be improved and innovated.The existing furniture market has a wide variety of products,the homogenization is more serious,and the market segmentation is not enough to truly meet the individualized and diversified needs of consumers.Especially in the exhibitions such as the Milan International Furniture Fair from 2016 to 2018,there are some Flattened features such as folding,inflatable,assembling,simple decoration,primary colors,full of cultural memories,high consumer participation,etc.These furniture is popular with consumers.The world-famous brand IKEA took the lead in implementing the " semi-autonomous participation in design "furniture sales method in China,which caused a self-service furniture consumption trend similar to its own "playing blocks",which means that it can realize the fun of assembling furniture by itself,and it is also convenient for manufacturers to sell.This type furniture has become an important reference indicator for current users' purchase intentions.This kind of advocacy from complicacy to simple,from heavy to light,and the flat design thinking that brings the distance between consumers and furniture provides a reference for the innovative design of the furniture industry,the paper is based on this research.First of all,through the literature analysis method,comparative analysis method,etc.,the theory clarifies the concept,type,characteristics,theoretical basis and design method and application of flat design.AND using historical research and case study method,it analyzes the inheritance and expression of flat furniture in ancient Chinese furniture,Prioritizes the realistic meaning and expression form of flat design in contemporary furniture design,and seeks the source of flat design theory framework.Secondly,the paper initially constructs flat design indicators from three aspects:material layer,experience layer and spiritual layer.This paper identifies 25 flat design indicators such as diversity,detachability,and recycling,etc.through expert interviews and democratic elections.Then,through questionnaire survey,SPSS statistical software is used to carry out indicators.And it identifies the components of the flat design indicator system.Furthermore,through the Amos structural equation model,the weights of the flat design indicators of the furniture and their relationship are further analyzed and construct a complete flat theoretical model.Then,based on the construction of the theoretical model,this paper research on the flat design expression of the furniture based on Grasshopper parametric design patterns.And the innovative design of the furniture is carried out by using the parameterized platform.Compared to traditional patterns,it can save the development cost and time,and can quickly realize the personalized choice of the furniture scheme.On this basis,combined with theoretical model and parametric design mode,the research development process and design application of flat design of furniture are constructed.Finally,the flat furniture design example is evaluated.The weights of the flat furniture design index and the corresponding importance degree are obtained by the Delphi method.Through comparative analysis can show the weight of the Delphi method analysis result and the structural equation analysis result,the values are similar and with high consistency.Then the relevant data is normalized.Taking flat furniture designed by the author as an example,the design evaluation is carried out.The evaluation results put forward the advantages and disadvantages of the design and the improvement measures,which are of great help to the improvement of the scheme.And the results verify the feasibility,scientificity and accuracy of the construction of the flat design theory system.Research has three aspects of innovation.First,in terms of academic thinking,the research of the thesis starts from the perspective of flattening,and advocates the goal of furniture portability,ecology and reduction,and is committed to constructing a flat design index system of the system,further enriching the theoretical system of furniture design related disciplines.Secondly,in terms of academic viewpoints,the research of the thesis starts from the perspective of system theory,and builds a flat design index system through expert interviews,popular elections and AMOS structural equation model,thus providing accurate guidance for the flat design practice of furniture.Thirdly,in terms of research methods,in addition to the conventional research methods,the research of the thesis uses empirical research methods,systematic research methods,questionnaire survey methods and AMOS structural equation models to conduct research from multiple perspectives and multi-faceted surfaces.Ensure the systematic nature of the research content and the accuracy of the research findings.Through research,a furniture flat design theory system is constructed,and the feasibility of the theory to design practice and evaluation guidance is verified by design and application.The research results will help to promote the breadth and depth of basic theoretical research in the field of furniture design.The research results show that the use of flat design theory can scientifically guide the design and development of furniture products,and can improve the quality and level of furniture products.Form a batch of original furniture products,enrich the existing furniture market product line.
