Construction And Application Of Furniture Design Evaluation At Design Stage

The evaluation of furniture design runs through the whole process of furniture design. In the early stage of furniture design, consumer,s evaluation affects the furniture design directly, and the design of furniture plan plays an important role to the quality of furniture product. The evaluation to the design of furniture plan can guarantee the quality of products. The thesis constructs the system of furniture design evaluation on the base of analysis of the history and present condition of design evaluation at home and abroad, and makes a thorough and systematic study on the evaluation of the early stage of furniture design and the furniture conception design in the system of design evaluation.In the first place, the thesis expounds the academic background of research and analyzes the present condition of studying on the evaluation of product design and furniture design at home and abroad. At the same time, it also summarizes the hot spot of design evaluation and its developing trend to draw a conclusion that the main content of this research is to construct the system of furniture design evaluation and apply it in the corresponding field.Secondly, the thesis researches the qualitative evaluation of furniture design in the period of agriculture, industry and post-industry. From the process of furniture design, the thesis analyzes the evaluation of the early stage of furniture design, the furniture conception design and the furniture product to construct the system of evaluation furniture design.Thirdly, the thesis researches the evaluation of the early stage of furniture design. It includes studying the change of evaluation standard,analyzing the development tactics of new furniture product, researching consumers , demand administrative levels and their psychological requirement. Combining with consumer,s psychological demand and the theory of satisfied level, the thesis puts forward new thought of furniture design in view of consumer. With investigation on the consumer,s psychology, it analyzes the consumer,s demand on furniture and the psychological evaluation in the early stage of furniture design systematically and comprehensively.In the fourth part, the thesis researches the evaluation of furniture conception design. It analyzes the evaluation index of the creative furniture design and reformed furniture design. Based on consumer,s psychological evaluation on furniture product, the thesis investigates the evaluation index on the way of questionnaire from the view of design experts and analyzes the figure of all kinds of evaluation index with Analytic Hierarchy Process in order to provide basis for enterprise furniture conception design and construct the evaluation model of furniture conception design,and to evaluate the modern Chinese furniture design by means of the Kansei Engineering. Therefore, it can be evaluated rational and scientific nature of the model.In the last part,the thesis summarizes its main content and its achievements and looks into the future toward the content and direction of this research.
