BIM(Building Information Modeling)is the trend and key of the development of the construction informatization in the future has formed the consensus in the industry.However,in the process of construction informatization,the application based on BIM is given priority to a local application mode,the weaknesses of the mode are mainly as follows: the participants in different regions in building life cycle has been limited in information sharing and collaborative work,which forms a serious information island and fault;The upgrade or update of application system is vulnerable to the existing IT infrastructure and cost constraints;System maintenance costs a great deal of manpower and material resources.From the connotation of BIM,the BIM value is mainly reflected in the performance ability,computation ability and communication skills,and the local BIM application mode in the support of traditional information technology cannot give full play to the value of BIM,which will cause the various drawbacks of the above.Given the potential role of cloud computing technology in these three aspects powerful support,as well as of cloud computing strategic layout of the state in the construction field,the author thinks that application research of the key technology of BIM based on cloud computing is urgently needed,has important significance in theory research and practice.In this paper,through a large number of literature investigation and other means to research,through the system summary,in view of the connotation of the BIM and technical characteristics,combined with BIM application status and insufficiency in the current construction field,BIM application architecture based on cloud computing is built first;the key technologies of the architecture implementation are proposed;Finally,ancient building protection document management prototype system based on BIM is built and designed to as application and validation of these research findings of the above aspects.The main achievements are as follows:(1)Integrated BIM technology,IFC(Industry Foundation Classes)standard and the related standard,cloud computing and other related research results,the system framework of BIM application based on cloud computing is built,the key technologies of the architecture implementation is proposed: Construction domain ontology technology,data organization and management technology in BIM applications and BIM Web service modeling method.(2)Construction domain ontology is the semantic basis of application layer of the architecture.In the field of the protection of ancient buildings as an example,the application of ontology technology in the protection of ancient building is discussed,the structure of the domain ontology and the logical model of knowledge management based on the ontology are put forward,a knowledge management system framework based on the ontology is created;Domain ontology construction method is the core of ontology technology,according to the shortcomings and difficult engineering problems of non-formal construction of ancient architecture protection domain ontology,a domain ontology construction method based on CLT(Concept Lattice Theory)and software engineering is proposed,which ensure the quality of the domain ontology;IFDLibrary is a standardized description about the terminology and the attribute set which is in construction engineering under international standard framework,IFC and IFDLibrary is a kind of reference relationship,while the latter is not suitable for Chinese environment,because architecture domain ontology and IFDLibrary have a certain similarity,a construction method of IFDLibrary content based on the domain ontology is proposed,made a useful attempt for the construction of China’s IFDLibrary.(3)Data organization and management is the core of data management layer implementation in BIM application system architecture based on cloud computing.Through the analysis on data characteristics of BIM application field,the fact that BIM model data and non-structure data in the field coexist is clear,organization and management method of these different types of data in the field are reviewed;And then combined with the characteristics of big data background of the field,the big data technologies and their application related to data management of the field are discussed;Then,for the BIM model data,on the basis of the analysis comparing various Database storage property,O-RDB(Object-Relation Database)is used to study IFC data storage method,considering some IFC data files needs to be converted to a cloud environment database storage,file–database transformation problem is studied,to a certain extent database storage problem of structured data in BIM application is solved;Unstructured data related to BIM model data is no unified data model,in order to make the effective storage and adapt to the big data applications,tetrahedron data model combining with NOSQL database technology is put forward for storage management,which can adapt to BIM application and other large data requirements;In order to ensure the effective unified access to all kinds of data,and finally,the middle-ware model based on domain ontology methods are discussed for data integration in this paper,which provides a solution for the integration and unified access of different types of data.(4)BIM Web service modeling is the basis of the application layer development of BIM application architecture based on cloud computing.For the trend of BIM application service development direction in the future,some important problems in BIM application based on SOA and service-oriented BIM software system development method are discussed;On this basis,the method of building BIM application system based on process technology is proposed,process design,the standard mechanism of integration process in construction field and the construction of BIM application system based on IDM/MDV are studied in detail,which has important guiding significance for the rapid and accurate construction of BIM application system based on cloud computing.(5)To document management in the protection of ancient buildings as an example,ancient architecture protection document prototype system based on BIM is implemented.The effective integration management of documents and BIM model is realized in the system which is the application and verification of the previous research results.
