With the implementation of new urbanization strategy,there has been a trend towards the rapid growing development of new urban districts in China.In order to improve service capacity and service quality of transportation infrastructure in new urban districts,modern tram systems are planning to be built in many new urban districts.However,insufficient understanding of technical and traffic characteristics along with immature planning method lead to incongruity between tram network planning and overall planning in many new urban districts.Functions of many completed modern tram systems are not obvious because of insufficient traffic demand.By systematically studying the key technologies and planning methods of modern tram transportation development mechanism,line network characteristics,passenger demand forecast,scale calculation,line network generation and optimization,line network evaluation and timing decision in the new district of the city,The scientific rationality of network planning is of great significance to promote the healthy,orderly and sustainable development of modern tram system in urban new districts.From the perspectives of public transport,bus priority and green intensive development in urban new area,this dissertation studies the development mechanism of the interaction between modern tram transportation and new urban areas.By analyzing the adaptability of modern tram in the new urban area,the function of modern tram transportation in multimodal and multi-level public transport system is clearly clarified.Combined with the technical characteristics of modern tram transportation,this paper studies the key indicators that characterize the tram characteristics of modern tram system,which provides traffic parameters for the planning of modern tram network planning.On the basis of studying the basic form of modern tram line network,through the analysis of the coupling relationship between the modern tram line network and the spatial structure of urban new district and the evolution process,the characteristics of the modern tramcar network in the new urban area are studied,and the planning ideas of combining the tramline shape selection of the modern tramcar with the spatial development characteristics of the urban new district are proposed.According to the selection of urban passenger flow forecasting model and the parameter value method,it is suggested that the forecast of travel generation should be adjusted and calibrated according to the characteristics and development of new urban area.The core area coefficient should also be considered for the special active area.The travel distribution forecast should be modeled separately for the differences of internal and external traffic connections,and the network overlap should be based on the overlap demand theory.Considering the multi?modal transit network under the condition of traveling modes,the travelers predict the autonomy of the combined travel mode selection and construct the all-round combined travel random user equilibrium logit model.The calibration of utility parameters is based on the characteristic indexes such as travel distance,travel speed and transportation ability of modern tram.Network Allocation should be based on stages of development of urban new district phased construction of distribution network model to increase the ground intersection signal delay time considerations.Based on the analysis of the main factors that affect the size of modern tramcar network in the urban area,a method for calculating the scale of the railway network based on the demand of passenger flow,the coverage of the railway network and the geometrical analysis is proposed.The control elements of line network generation are studied by the "face,line and point" factor analysis method,and the initial line network is constructed by the virtual route generation method based on the importance of traffic community and the entity route generation method based on the importance of the distribution points.The k-shortest path algorithm is introduced to optimize the selection of modern tram network,which provides theoretical support for the generation and optimization of modem tram network in urban districts.In order to scientifically evaluate the effect of modem streetcar network planning in the new urban area,the evaluation objectives,evaluation factors and index system that can reflect the advantages and disadvantages of the network planning scheme are established.By analyzing the weight relationship of these indicators,the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model Evaluate the network plan.The multi-objective ideal point decision model(TOPSIS)is used to establish a standardized decision matrix to determine the timing and decision-making of the modern tram planning network,which provides a scientific basis for the implementation of the modern tram planning network.Using the method of network planning and the key technologies proposed by the paper,taking the planning of the modern tram network in Hexi New City of Nanjing as an example,this paper systematically demonstrates the functional positioning of the modern tram network in Hexi New City,the demand analysis of passenger flow,the calculation of the size of the line network,the generation and optimization of the line network,the evaluation of the network and the timing decision-making,and further verifies the validity of the related research results.
